This puptastic park has separated areas for small dogs and all sized dogs, plus shaded areas, gazebos, and water. There's also adorable fire hydrant water stations and fountain, a dog house in the entry, and even powerloos, which are flushable dog toilets! Watch your pup romp it up with pals, or walk along the bone walkway. The ground here is a mixture of dirt and grass for you dog to run on, which will be a sure fit for any pup.

S State Rd/ E Clark St

Head to the Jack Abernathy Regional Park in this neighborhood to access the Black Creek Nature Trail. This 1.6-mile trail was constructed by the town to promote a healthy lifestyle, and is paved and perfect for any type of dog and owner to hike along. While hiking this beautiful trail, you will pass through a wooded area and along the Black Creek. If you and Fido need to stop for a moment, there are plenty of rest points along the trail where you can take a break. Make sure to bring water and clean-up bags with you while traveling this trail.

Grand Blanc

Eleven miles out of Davison in Grand Blanc is the Grand Blanc Dog Park. This dogtastic park has separated areas for large and small dogs, so Fido can play with someone his own size, and even has agility equipment for the more adventurous pups. The park has tons of grass that your dog can roll around and play fetch on, plus there are plenty of trees to provide shade and some benches for owners to sit on. Make sure to bring water and clean-up bags with you to the park, and be aware that there is a membership fee to enter the park.

Millard Ponds

If you and Fido are feeling a little peckish, stop into Burton which is seven miles out of Davison and grab a bite to eat at Halo Burger. This pawsome eatery serves American style food with some of your favorites including burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, and chicken. Make sure to grab a milkshake while you are there and get Fido a set of chicken nuggets which come in the shape of dinosaurs! Your dog is welcome to eat with you on their outdoor patio and will love being able to relax while you enjoy a tasty meal. You both will be heading home full and satified after this trip.

East Village

Flint is ten miles out of Davison and home to two dog friendly restaurants that you and Fido can dine at together. Once in the car, your pup won't mind the short car ride to these pawsome eateries. 501 Bar and Grill is located in downtown Flint and has a menu that includes sushi, sandwiches, wraps, and fish and chips. Sherman's Lounge offers American fare and a great bar. Their menu includes wings, pizza, wraps, and subs plus their kitchen is open until 1 a.m. daily. Both of these great eateries have dog friendly patios where Fido can watch you enjoy a tasty meal.
