North Lake
North Lake, located on the far west side of town, is a residential neighborhood with single-family homes. You and Fido can go for a walk around the block or down wooded lanes here. Plan an outing with your special pal at Gold Mine Lake Park. This facility is just 5.9 miles northwest of the area. Bring a boat and go fishing on the 27-acre lake, or play some catch in the open space. There are some tables near the boat launch where you can enjoy a meal with your canine companion. Keep your pooch on-leash and bring waste bags when you visit.36

Winthrop Junction
The neighborhood of Winthrop Junction is a residential community located in southern Ishpeming. There are some duplexes and single-family homes here.
