Petersburg
Pirolli Park is a campground situated a little bit outside of Petersburg, and it offers quite a few activities that you can enjoy together with every member of the family. Your furry babies are allowed with you as long as they don't have a short temper and you clean up after them. Constant barking is not allowed, and you may be asked to leave the campground if your dog is noisy. Moreover, the pizza there is said to be one of the best pizzas in the area. It even comes with flavored crust. Yum!

Carpenter
Approximately 25 miles north of Petersburg, you’ll find the Carpenter neighborhood of Ann Arbor. If you’re desperate to visit a dog park in the area, head on over to the only dog park in the area: Swift Run Dog Park. This 10-acre dog heaven has separate areas for both small and large dogs. Furthermore, there are a lot of water bowls and shade for your dog's comfort. The park also provides poop bags for cleaning after your pup and benches so you can rest while the dog is having fun. All you need to bring is Fido’s favorite toy!

Blissfield
Blissfield is a village in Michigan not far away from Petersburg (around 14 miles) that has around 3,000 inhabitants. The village recently built a very beautiful and modern little dog park. You’ll find the Blissfield Dog Park within Ellis Park. The park is fenced and has a separate area for small dogs. If you want to access this park, you have to fill out a membership form and pay $20 for up to two dogs. For every dog, after that, the fee is an additional $5. The dog owner must be over 14 years old and is allowed to supervise two dogs at a time. All canine members must be at least 6 months old.

N Ann Arbor
Around 28 miles north of Petersburg is a small town called Saline, which is home to one dog park. The park is next to the Mill Pond, and it's the perfect place for your furry buddy to cool off in the hot weather. The park is fenced on three sides, and the fourth side is the water itself. The restrooms and the children play area are not far away from the dog park. The larger park has benches and a picnic table. It's usually a pretty quiet place that you can enjoy with the whole family.

Bedford Township
Fourteen miles away from Petersburg is the tiny town of Temperance. The short drive to this town is worth it for Vienna Park. The park is massive, and has lots of trails surrounded by untouched nature, which makes it the perfect spot for you and your dog. Other features of the park include sports fields, pavilions, disc golf, playgrounds, grills, horseshoes, and a nature area. Just remember to keep your furry friend on leash while visiting this park, and be sure to clean up after him. No one likes a litterbug!
