Jean Klock Park, in the West Benton Harbor neighborhood, of the city of Benton Harbor, 2 miles north of St. Joseph, is where you and your fur-ever friend can enjoy scenic views of Lake Michigan. Check out the paved walking paths and boardwalks, perfect for taking a stroll with your pup on leash. These are suited for all fitness-level pups. Volleyball courts and a playground for the kiddies are also featured amenities. Picnic shelters are great for sharing lunch in the shade. Restrooms and drinking fountains are on site but be sure to bring mutt mitts to clean up after Fido.

Fairplain

In the Fairplain neighborhood of St. Joseph, there is a must-see, pup-friendly park. Visit Riverview Park which offers 107 acres of outdoor adventure for you and your pawtastic friend. There are lots of walking paths which you can take to stroll around the park, suitable for all pup-abilities. These trails offer opportunities to view the waterways here and watch the fisherman try to catch some fish for dinner! Enjoy the picnic tables with grills for flippin’ some burgers, and a boat launch to take Fido for a cruise. Pups must remain on leash throughout the park. Restrooms are on site.

Downtown St. Joseph

In the Downtown neighborhood of St. Joseph, Silver Beach County Park is the place to be for some Lake Michigan fun. It is located directly on the lake and St. Joseph River, which offers a variety of water fun for people and lots of walkways for the pups! Take Fido for a stroll throughout on the paved paths, or head to Lake Bluff Park overlooking the lake. Catch a summer concert here with your pup by your side, or just relax on the green, open spaces. Restrooms can be found at both parks, and your fur-ever friend must remain on leash.

S State St

The South State Street neighborhood of St. Joseph offers Kiwanis Park for pups and people to enjoy. There are lots of sports courts and fields, and 14 acres of open space for you to relax the day away with your fur-ever friend. Walking paths meander throughout where Fido will enjoy an on-leash walk. The kiddies can entertain themselves at the old-fashion wooden playground, and your day would not be complete without sharing a picnic lunch under the shady pavilions. Restrooms and drinking fountains are provided, so all you need to bring are mutt mitts to keep this park pup-friendly!

Pinebrook

Eaton Park, in the Pinebrook neighborhood of St. Joseph, is a pup-tastic place to take your fur-ever friend to spend a relaxing day together. There are lots of sports courts for the sports enthusiasts and you might be lucky to catch a game in action. Or simply take a walk with Fido on leash to enjoy each other’s company. Benches are scattered throughout where you and your pup can relax, and lots of green, open space for you to throw down a blanket and share lunch. Restrooms are on site as well as drinking fountains. Don’t forget the mutt mitts!
