Courtney was great! My dog has separation anxiety & is usually freaking out when I get home after being gone all day. But this time, she was calm and happy. She clearly loved Courtney!

Sheana came through when I was in a pinch. I needed someone to let the dogs out because I was stuck in traffic in the mountains. She responded last minute and had excellent communication. She’s the best!

It was our first time leaving Skittles with a sitter, and Daniel did a great job of assuaging our fears! He was super communicative and made sure we knew that Skittles was in good hands. Highly recommend!

Kelli was awesome boarding my two dogs. Not only did she give daily updates with videos and pictures she also worked with them on introducing them to her cat and getting used to her big dogs. Can't recommend enough!

Scruggs

Scruggs

The luxurious neighbourhood of Scruggs boasts quite a few parks for your four-legged friend to frolic through. One of them is Ellis-Porter Park that offers sidewalks for easy walks with your dog that allow you to enjoy the summer breeze. The park also has a lot of grassy areas that you can walk through and hills that you can stroll down. Or roll down, whichever your pup prefers. There is also another nearby park called McKay Park which features water, so stop in here if your pooch needs to cool off with a swim.

Binder State Park is a wonderful place to enjoy a long walk with your pup. The trails are lined with trees so there are plenty of scents for your dog to explore as you take in the scenery. This park also offers benches, so if you and your four-legged friend need a bit of a break, you can sit down and rest amidst the trees. It also features a waterfront that allows your canine friend to jump into and cool off in the summer! If you are just passing through, the nearby Candlewood Suites Jefferson City allows your dog to stay overnight with you for a small fee, though they do require vaccination records.

Hough Park is nestled right beside the Oak Hills Golf Centre in this neighborhood, and is known for its grassy fields. This park is a great place to play fetch or run around with your four-legged friend, and also boasts a path that you and your pup can explore. This park proudly sports Hough Park Lake, so if your dog likes getting a little wet, then this is definitely somewhere you will want to take your pooch. Because of its close proximity to the golf course, the park does ask that your furry friend stays on leash while in the parking having fun. Play safe doggies!

Cole Junction

Cole Junction

Quigg Commons is an exquisitely beautiful area. Your dogs can trot along the path here, or stop and sniff the flowers in its myriad gardens, and will have more than enough to absorb in this lovely landscape. This park also has benches for you and your canine friend to sit on if you need to rest your weary legs from all the walking. Not enough nature for you? Then head over to Memorial Park, which features a mile long trail, , playgrounds, a basketball court, and a large pavilion complete with grills. If you just need a break with your pup away from the crowds, the park also features several covered picnic tables scattered throughout.

If your dog loves to play fetch, then there is no better place to bring his favourite tennis ball than to Duensing Park. This park is a grassy field for as far as the eye can see. It can also turn into a nice early morning stroll if your dog likes waking you up for their early morning walk. The parking lot is fairly small, so if your dog is dying to play fetch, make sure there are no events going on ahead of time, such as a game inside Duesing Softball Field located inside the park. For a beautiful long walk, take the Greenway Bike Trail that runs through the north end of the park alongside Wears Creek.
