I managed a dog boarding and daycare facility. I have fostered and owned dogs for the last 12 years and plan on owning my own boarding facility some day. I am very active with my three dogs; I take my dogs floating, camping, hiking, ect. The oldest dog will soon be 13 years old and he helps me take care of the two pups, both 2 years old. My pups are very energetic and love other dogs, so I am wanting to join Wag to provide daytime care for pups that would like to join in on my families adventures! I have experience in boarding, sitting, dog walking, administering medication, and keep with a strict food schedule. I have worked with many breeds and several temperament types. From toy to giant, I can work with any size dog! Animals are my life. Please allow me to bring some extra joy to their days!

Hello! My name is Kara. I am a HUGE dog lover and volunteer for many different animal organizations. I work with Operation Blankets of Love where my 9 year old rescue corgi beagle mix is the official ambassador. I was raised with dogs and love fitness so it's a win win! I grew up with 4 dogs on a farm when I was younger, which has given me a lot of experience with how to take care of dogs. I have also walked many dogs for my friends and family. I have had a few experiences pet sitting as well.

The north neighborhood of Jefferson City has what dogs are looking for -- a playground all their own!  North Jefferson City Dog Park on Sandstone Drive has two fully-fenced acres of grassy ground gives Fido room to stretch those hind legs and make a furry pal or two. No need to leave to get a drink. This dog park provides what a dog needs. The human companion can rest on a shaded bench. If nature happens to call while a pup visits, no worries!
