The dog-friendly lodging in Rolla makes a visitor with a pup feel at home. Baymont Inn & Suites on Martin Springs Drive allows up to two dogs under fifty pounds to stay for an additional fee of $25 per night. Bigger furry traveling companions will head to Quality Inn, just down the road. Quality has no size restrictions and allows up to 2 dogs to stay for just $20 per dog per night. Hungry dogs and their people can head down to O’Doggy’s on N. Rolla Street. This restaurant serves ups some specialty hot dogs at outdoor tables for furry friends and their humans to enjoy.

Cole Junction
The state capital is about an hour’s drive north of Rolla. The north neighborhood of Jefferson City has what dogs are looking for -- a playground all their own! North Jefferson City Dog Park on Sandstone Drive has two fully-fenced acres of grassy ground gives Fido room to stretch those hind legs and make a furry pal or two. No need to leave to get a drink. This dog park provides what a dog needs. The human companion can rest on a shaded bench. If nature happens to call while a pup visits, no worries! Dog waste baggies are at the human companion’s fingertips. This dog park is one separate enclosure that operates a special schedule for small and large dogs. Prior registration with the city is required.

City Limits
Kingdom City is about 80 miles north of Rolla. FastLane Dog Park is right off Interstate 70, and it's a pitstop for pit bulls! This amazing little rest stop lets everyone in the car get out and stretch. The fully fenced place for dogs to get out and stretch is turf-covered. Water is just a tail wag away. A separate space keeps those small dogs safe. The dog park operates 24/7 and is fully lit for those midnight runs. The nearby convenience store sells toys, pet chews, and anything a dog on the go could need. FastLane is a concept that needs to catch on!

The neighborhood of South Point in Washington is 70 miles northeast of Rolla. Dogs never do anything wrong in Washington -- these people adore their pups! And there's no better way to show your love for your pooch than with a trip to the new city dog park! The South Point Bark Park is home to 1.5 acres of the finest Franklin County ground a canine could ask for. Small dogs have a separate space for them, too. There's no water and no fancy pavilions -- yet! This dog park is a work in progress. Many great additions are planned. It is free and open to all dogs who want to come out and play.

Wildwood City Limits
Wildwood's city limits has a special place for a person with a furry friend. Happy Hounds Playground has everything for your special pup. This members-only park is located on Pond Road. Happy Hounds has ten acres of fully fenced doggie paradise. Of course, small dogs have their piece of it for themselves. Splash pads, lakes with dock diving, and plenty of useful amenities and new friends to sniff makes this dog park simply unique. Playground equipment just for canines completes the package. A nature trail makes the pawfect place for a little exploration with a nose down, and some ears up. True to its name, Happy Hounds will wear your dog out and put a smile on his face!
