Adie Road
For a pawesome walk with your pup, head over to McDonnell Park. Dogs are welcome on-leash in this large park, which has tons of open fields where you can walk with your dog. There are also numerous flat, paved trails throughout the park. These trails go around lovely fields and past leafy tree-filled areas. After you’re finished walking with your dog, take them for a picnic at one of the park’s picnic shelters. Bring your dog their favorite treat and some water, and have a fun time eating an al fresco meal with your pup!

This neighborhood is home to another lovely park where you can walk your dog on-leash: Saint Ann Park. Here, you and your dog can take a stroll on the park’s one long, flat walking trail. This fun trail offers great views of the park’s creek. When you’re finished with your walk, grab a snack with your pup at nearby Dairy Queen. This casual spot has two dog-friendly outdoor tables where you can enjoy ice cream sundaes, burgers, hot dogs, chicken strips, and more. If your dog was a good boy at the park, treat him to a plain burger patty!

South Mason Road
This neighborhood is about 15 miles from Saint Ann, and it's home to the American Kennel Club Museum of the Dog, a dog-themed art museum that allows pups on-leash. This museum features over 700 paintings, sculptures, and drawings of dogs from many different periods of history. Treats are provided for the furry members of your family, guaranteeing that everyone has a great time here! After you’re finished at the museum, take your dog for a walk through adjacent Queeny Park. Want to let your dog run and play off-leash? Head over to DuSable Dog Park in Saint Charles. This dog park is 12 miles from Saint Ann, and it has separate areas for large and small dogs. While your dog is playing, you can sit under the dog park’s shady pavilion. If your pup gets thirsty, water is available here. Once your dog is all finished playing, take them for lunch at nearby RT Seiler’s. This casual restaurant has dog-friendly outdoor tables, and your server will bring your dog a bowl of cold water. For another fun off-leash dog park, head over to the Paw Park at Ferd B. Lang Park. This park is about 27 miles from Saint Ann, and it has separate areas for large and small dogs.
