Aloha, I’m Taylor and I have been around dogs and cats my whole life. Dogs hold a special part of my heart. I grew up with Lily the Black Lab, Kona the Rottweiler, and Ginger the Basenji. Kona was my best friend in the whole world! I started sitting my neighbors’ dog when I was 14 and since then I have regularly house-sat and walked many of my family and friends’ dogs. My experience ranges from a single walk to watching four dogs for two weeks. I hope I can help with you and your pets’ needs!

“Walkies, Big W, W-A-L-K, Doggie Dubs : Let's go!”

I grew up in a family full of dogs. My grandparents were breeders, my aunt and uncle have hunting dogs, we had both show dogs and pound puppies. I have a lot of experience with 'difficult' temperaments, forever puppies, and doggy anxiety. I'm patient and calm under possible stressful situations. I love all breeds and personalities and can't wait to meet your furbaby!

Dog Walking in Springfield

Explore some of the caverns Missouri has to offer with Fantastic Caverns. Fifty-minute Jeep tours with very little walking are given seven days a week at various times. Dogs are welcome on the tours, but only one dog is allowed per tour, so you may have to wait a couple tours before you and your dog can board. There are picnic tables and hiking trails on-site, so you’ll be sure to keep busy while waiting for the next tour.

Need to unwind? Spend a day of peace at Japanese Stroll Garden. Take in the sights of beautiful flowers, crisp greenery, lazy streams, and ponds of koi fish while enjoying the festivities the garden has to offer. Don’t forget to stop by the traditional tea house to witness an experience like none other. Be sure to bring Fido along to experience something she hasn't experienced before. Well-behaved dogs are allowed throughout the garden, but they must be leashed and under the control of their owners at all times. If you want to enjoy some off-leash time, stop by Cruse Dog Park, this Dog Park stays under the radar but hosts thousands of visits and is a top-rated local favorite.

Indulge in a deliciously healthy meal at the Tropical Smoothie Café. The café serves fruit smoothies, coffee smoothies, wraps, sandwiches, and salads, all made with gourmet cheeses, meats, and breads. Tropical Smoothie Café also offers vegetarian and vegan meals, as well as catering. The café is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and well-behaved, leashed dogs are allowed in the outdoor seating area.

For a long afternoon of frolicking and fun, take your dog to the Sequiota Park in the southeastern neighborhood of Galloway. This 28 acre area provides enough room to play and explore, and will keep your pup sniffing for more! Grills and picnic areas provide great places for lunch, and the onsite restrooms and drinking fountains can allow you to extend your visit. Take one of the nature trails that wind through acres and acres of gorgeous scenery, or spend some time at the lake. When you and your dog are ready for some real adventure, head to one of three natural caves. While two of them are quite small and require a crawl to get into, the third is rather large, and features jagged formations, pools of spring water, hanging stalactites, and perhaps even a bat or two!
