Union City Limits
A person with a pup will find things to do in City Limits of Union. The City of Union maintains a dog park. The K-9-n-Kiddos Park is located off N. Christina Avenue. The dog park is a fully fenced grassy enclosure for the dogs to play off leash. The park is designed for those families that have small children and a dog. There are places in an out of the dog park for people to sit and supervise child and pup at the same time. There is a separate enclosure for small dogs. The ground is grass. Water is not available on-site. There are a few pieces of agility equipment. The dog park is open from dawn to dusk.

South Point
The neighborhood in Washington called South Point is the area around South Point Road and South Point Elementary School. It is eight miles south of Union. This area as many activities for a person with a pup. The South Point Bark Park is located off of Simmonds Road. It give dogs a chance to run and play leash-free in an acre and a half of ground. There is a separate area for small dogs is in the process. The funding for it has been approved by the City so it should be available soon. There are few amenities yet. The dog park does not have water or places for people to sit. This dog park should have many additions coming in the near future.

Washington City Limits
The surrounding areas of the City of Washington have parks and places for a person and a pup to visit. Burger Park is located at 900 International Avenue. This is a fully fenced dog run that gives dogs a chance to run and play leash free. There is drinking water available on-site. The dog park lacks amenities. There are no benches at this dog park. There is a waste station in the front of the dog park. It has a double fenced opening area for unleashing. This dog park is free and open to the public. It is open from dawn to dusk.

Gray Summit City Limits
The City Limits of Gray Summit is thirteen miles north of Union. A person with a dog is a welcome visitor at Purina Farms. Purina Farms is a free attraction. Leashed dogs can come into the Visitor Center and outside on the patio. Dogs on leash may sit and watch other dogs perform in the outdoor show ring. Dogs are not allowed in the Barn or in the housing for cats and dogs. Purina Farms is the place where many dogs compete in agility courses. There is large grassy areas that are used for dog shows. Purina Farms operates seasonally. The dog fields are open for independent training for dogs during the winter months for a small fee.

Wildwood City Limits
Wildwood is twenty-five miles northeast of Union. Wildwood is one of the may small cities within St. Louis County. It is a very dog-friendly community. The City of Wildwood’s Dog Park is located at its Community Park at 2153 State Road Route Highway 109. This dog park has three fully fenced areas for dogs to play leash free. This dog park is restricted to residents of Wildwood. Application and a entrance code is required. Happy Hounds is available for visitors to Wildwood. Happy Hounds Playground is a privately run place where dogs have many opportunities for leash free fun. Happy Hounds has ten fully fenced acres packed with a variety of things for your pup to explore. It includes a swimming area and a playground. There is separate space for smaller dogs. Admittance to Happy Hounds requires purchase of a monthly or annual membership.
