Flowood Road Northeast
Flowood is a city and the closest neighbor of Jackson, located about 25 minutes north of Terry. You'll want to travel along Follow Road, which starts at the city center and runs all the way to the northeast, offering a glimpse into the city's residential quarters, shopping venues, and pet-friendly eateries. There are two beautiful public parks right across from the shopping center. Winners Circle Park is a nice landscaped facility with walking trails for pleasant strolls with your buddy. At Flowood Nature Park, you can enjoy the beauty of the dense forest and lake. Pooches should stay on their leash at all times.

East Ridgeland
Ridgeland is a city in Madison County, Mississippi, located north of Jackson. Follow the lead of Natchez Trace Parkway to get to the eastern part of the city overlooking Ross R. Barnett Reservoir. Here, you'll find Old Terrace Park, a waterfront recreation area with picnic spots and walking trails that welcome pooches. The park is also home to Dog Park at The Rez, a fenced, pet-friendly facility with plenty of room to run off-leash and enjoy some mutts-needed playtime. Conveniently located within the main area, the doggy area is fairly popular among locals, and features benches, shade, and drinking water facilities for canines.

North Flag Chapel Road
North Flag Chapel Road runs throughout the northern part of Jackson, passing by Queens-Magnolia Terrace and intersecting with West Northside Drive. A little ways from the crossroads, you will find CARA, an animal rescue service which maintains Brees Bark Park. This furrific park welcomes pooches of all sizes and temperaments! You'll need to obtain a membership before playing here; however, it opens the doors to the wonderful world of doggy excitement! The park has two separate areas with play equipment in each, as well as a kiddie pool for splashing, some seating, shade, and drinking water.

Harvey
Harvey is a waterfront neighborhood in the southernmost part of Petal, MI, offering a few entertainment spots for you and your buddy. South Main Street is the main arterial street; drive along it to find Petal Dog Park, located on Dawson Cut Off. This park was primarily built for the local dog owners; however, the park now welcomes canine visitors from all over the States! There are always people and pooches on the playground to play with, so you and Fido are sure to make fast friends here! The park is fully fenced, and is equipped with seating for humans and drinking water for pups.
West Hattiesburg
Hattiesburg is one of the major cities in Forrest County, located about 2 hours southeast of Terry. The drive here will be a long one, but trust us when we say it's well worth it! West Hattiesburg is home to All-American Rose Garden, a botanical garden with paved, dog-friendly walking trails. If you want something more adventurous, feel free to hit Longleaf Trace, a 40-mile trail stretching throughout Forrest, Jefferson Davis, and Lamar Counties, with a starting point in Hattiesburg.
