I am a lifelong avid dog lover! My father always had dogs and as an adult, I have never been without at least one. My first pup was a golden retriever named Hannah and she was followed by a golden named Simon...then a white shepherd named Lum, a rescue mix Layla, a rescue mix lab named Basil and finally my first ever small dogs, Nala and Aslan. They are 3 and 4 year old Chinese Crested Powderpuffs and are the light of my life. I am so wild about dogs that when I pass by them, I gush to my husband about how cute they are and it has become a running joke in the family about how I coo over them like most people do babies...can't help myself!

“What can I say, I’m a walk-star!”

I have a sweet spot in my heart for all animals and believe they deserve the utmost love and respect! I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter for a year in which I worked with and walked dogs up for adoption and spent time with the cats. I have had two dogs growing up and currently have a three year old Pitbull/Whippet mix that I can call my baby. I’ve dog sat for several years, administered medication, provided love and lots of cuddles at night! I would love to shower your pet with love!

Dog Walking in Mebane

Mebane is a small, quaint town in North Carolina. The city got its name after Alexander Mebane, who was a general of the American Revolutionary War and also a member of the U.S. Congress. It is considered to be one of the fastest growing municipalities in North Carolina.

If you find yourself in Mebane along with your pup and you need a place to grab a bite or coffee, you should visit Moe's Southwest Grill or Filament Coffee + Tea. If you're in the mood for something a little stronger, you should visit the Trackside Market, which is a local bottle shop and gathering spot that offers local craft beers and select wines. Your dog is welcome here as long as he's well-behaved. If you're in need of a dog-friendly place to spend the night, you can go to Triangle Creation Spa and Gardens, or check out Mebane AirBnB Rentals.

There are a couple of veterinary clinics in the vicinity in case you need to avail of their services while you're here. These clinics offer routine and emergency care to keep your best fur-iend in tip-top shape.

Looking for a fun, Fido-friendly activities? Visit Lake Michael Park, which is a gorgeous lakeside park that's dog-friendly. Your pal will need to be on a leash here, though.

This is an off-leash, fully fenced dog park that provides plenty of space for dogs to play and exercise. It has a double-gated entry and benches for human visitors. There are no separate areas for small and large dogs, and all dogs have to play in the same area. So if your pup has a problem with that, this might not be the right place for you. If you're visiting the park, make sure you bring plenty of water because there is no water available here. Bringing a leash and some doggie waste bags is always a good idea, too.
