While Lawrence Slade doesn't have an off-leash area, Beth Schmidt Park does, and it's called the K-9 Corner. This dog park opened in 2006, and it was the first of its kind in Alamance County. There are two sections in K-9 Corner: one for active dogs, and another for dogs who enjoy a slower pace. This off-leash park is known for being clean and well-maintained, and it provides visitors with everything they need for a fun trip to the dog park. Your dog must be licensed and vaccinated to visit K-9 Corner. There's also a one-mile walking trail in Beth Schmidt Park, and your dog can join you on it if they're on a leash.
