If you are looking for a spacious area for your pup to run around, this neighborhood, just 20 miles from Elmer, has the perfect park for you: Timber Creek Park. This park has an off-leash dog park that encompasses 9 fenced-in acres where your dog can explore safely. This dog park sits inside the regular park, which is 60 acres of wooded land. However, your dog must be on a leash if he wants to explore outside the dog park. There are several trails in this area which lead to a lake where your furry friend is welcome to swim after a long day of roaming around! Some of the trails are paved and others are just a path made in through the wooded area. There are also picnic tables, seating and shade trees for your comfort. You will need to pack all of your essentials, such as water and supplies for cleaning up after your canine pal.
