Do you love to try out new dog friendly eateries? Then you have got to take a road trip to Taos! Here you will find the pawsome Taos Mesa Brewing. Here you can get your paws into some delicious pub grub, such as burgers, sandwiches, wings and nachos. There are also outdoor tables here where you can chill out with your canine, with a stage for live music. Another puptastic place is Blake’s Lotaburger! You can dig into some tasty burgers, chicken, hot dogs and sandwiches. Why not try their famous green chile cheeseburger? Of course, since this place is dog friendly, there are tables outside where you can sit with your pooch.

Here you will find the puptastic Tim’s Stray Dog Cantina, which is a furrific place to enjoy some food with your furry friend during the day. You can choose from a host of delicious dishes on the menu, such as breakfast burritos and sandwiches, burgers, tacos, enchiladas, soup and salads; there is something for everyone. You can sit out on the patio with your beloved companion and there are beautiful views of the mountains for your table. Your canine will also love the fresh air – bone-a-petit!

This includes Jethro’s Genuine Texas Barbeque, where you can get your paws into some smoked meat, sandwiches, pulled pork and sausages. Don’t forget to save some room for apple cobbler! There are also picnic tables that you can sit at outside with your canine. Another puptastic place is 5 Star Burgers. This is a furrific place for fresh Angus beef, as well as enjoying a beer or wine in the evening. Of course, there are outdoor tables where you can sit back and relax with your doggo.
Eagle Nest
To go on an adventure with your canine, head to Eagle Nest! This pawsome place is around 17 miles from Red River, and makes a puptastic day out for you and your pooch since it is home to Eagle Nest Lake State Park. Here you can go hiking with your canine and enjoy the sniff-tastic trails here. Retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city and explore nature, and try your hand at fishing at the lake, which has trout and salmon. All pups can be top dog at Eagle Nest Lake State Park, as long as he or she remains on leash during your visit.
