I was raised on a farm in California, and I have been around dogs since I was a very young child. I have cared for dogs both professionally and for family, roommates and neighbors. I LOVE dogs, and I think they can sense when they meet a dog lover, which probably explains why they tend to love me as much as I love them. I look forward to spending time with your furry friend!

My name is Jessica and I have over 10 years of experience in animal care that includes volunteering in dog rescue and working as a Veterinary Assistant. I have spent most of my time walking & socializing dogs in an animal shelter, and caring for those we've saved in a privately run boarding facility. Working with animals is my greatest passion and their safety & well-being mean the most to me. I can't wait to spend time with your pet!

Hi there. My name is Dan. I go to school at GW, and I'm looking to walk some local pooches to help pay for school. I'm new to the world of professional pet care, but I'm no stranger to caring for dogs. I have a basset hound mix named Bon Bon back home (who I miss like crazy) that I've loved and cared for the past 8 years. I've also had experience sitting and walking dogs for neighbors and relatives. I look forward to getting out to meet some new pups and brighten their days.

I am a native New Yorker who has always had dogs growing up, including three pitbulls, a rottweiler and a pug. I currently have a 5-year old Shiba Inu named Rocky. I've always loved dog sitting for my friends and family. I'll walk your dog with the love and care that I do with my own!

“Always a good time with Gigi”

I am very eccentric. I’ve had multiple dogs in my family over the years and I’ve been doing my best to care for them as if they were my siblings. I like to create strong bonds that last and entertainment for a dog is entertainment for me. However I do know how to be stern and having experience with a dog trainer and vet office helped me gain valuable skills needed in order to give dogs the best care I can serve up. I look forward to sharing and caring for each and every pet I meet!

Hello! My name is Carlo, I LOVE dogs and I am the proud daddy of two wonderful English Bulldogs. Growing up I have always had dogs around me, and I have years of experience dog waking and dog sitting. I believe that dogs are family members and understand why they are men's best friends. I'm great with dogs! I've walked and dog sat for friends and family over the years and volunteered in animal shelters, and want to pass on my experience and love to your dog. I'll make sure your dog has a fun walk, and gets his or her, ahem, 'business' done. I'm sure I'll love your dog and they'll love me (but if they don't, no worries, they're still a good dog)!

Glen Cove clearly loves dogs, because they’ve created their own dog park! The Glen Cove Dog Park can be found within Dennis Brian Murray Park, in the City Center of Glen Cove. This pretty park is located on a wooded hillside overlooking the downtown area. Here you can find a large fenced off area where your dog can run and play off-leash in a safe environment. There are also benches, and drinking water available. Dogs are welcome to explore the surrounding park as well, but need to stay leashed when they are not in the fenced off area. After working up an appetite from all that play time, head over to Cedar Creek, located just across Pratt Street from the Dennis Brian Murray Park. This refined American bar and grill has three outdoor dog friendly tables.

If you and your dog are in the Old Tappan Road neighborhood, you’re in for a treat! It’s here that you can find the Welwyn Preserve. This 204 acre nature preserve is located on a former estate, and features a Holocaust Museum inside a 1913 mansion. You can also explore the wild and untamed nature along the many trails throughout the park, including one that leads down to the beach. There are several abandoned buildings and a greenhouse along the trails that have been overtaken by nature and graffiti, and are fascinating to look at. Dogs are welcome to join their humans on the trails, as long as they stay leashed and leave only paw prints!

The Landing neighborhood of Glen Cove is the place to go to get close to the water and the Long Island Sound. A furtastic place to walk your dog in this neighborhood is at the Mercadante Beach. This beach is open to Glen Cove residents only, but is a great place to get to know the neighborhood dogs and humans. The park features some picnic tables to kick back and enjoy the views and sunshine. At the tip of Glen Cove Creek, which splits off from the Long Island Sound, you can find Pratt Park. This magical place is just a 10 minute drive from Glen Cove, and features brooks and ponds, surrounded by a large variety of trees, flowers and ferns. The preserve has boardwalks over the wetlands, forest paths, footbridges and observation decks. On the southwest end of the Preserve, sits the John P. Humes Japanese Stroll Garden. This garden will transport you to ancient Japan, with the traditional tea houses, gardens and koi ponds.
