I doubt you're ever gonna find anyone who loves dogs more than I do. I've lived with dogs my whole life, walked at least 100 of my friends dogs, read dog books, volunteered at the Humane society in Hawaii, donate to ASPCA monthly, and just love them like crazy. I'm used to walking between 35.000 to 45.000 steps a day and can't wait to start walking your little one.

I was raised on a farm in California, and I have been around dogs since I was a very young child. I have cared for dogs both professionally and for family, roommates and neighbors. I LOVE dogs, and I think they can sense when they meet a dog lover, which probably explains why they tend to love me as much as I love them. I look forward to spending time with your furry friend!

Hi there. My name is Dan. I go to school at GW, and I'm looking to walk some local pooches to help pay for school. I'm new to the world of professional pet care, but I'm no stranger to caring for dogs. I have a basset hound mix named Bon Bon back home (who I miss like crazy) that I've loved and cared for the past 8 years. I've also had experience sitting and walking dogs for neighbors and relatives. I look forward to getting out to meet some new pups and brighten their days.

Hello! My name is Carlo, I LOVE dogs and I am the proud daddy of two wonderful English Bulldogs. Growing up I have always had dogs around me, and I have years of experience dog waking and dog sitting. I believe that dogs are family members and understand why they are men's best friends. I live in Inwood but I can easily move all around Manhattan to help you, and become your dog’s best friend!

I'm great with dogs! I've walked and dog sat for friends and family over the years and volunteered in animal shelters, and want to pass on my experience and love to your dog. I'll make sure your dog has a fun walk, and gets his or her, ahem, 'business' done. I'm sure I'll love your dog and they'll love me (but if they don't, no worries, they're still a good dog)!

Hi there! My name is William, I'm from Syracuse, NY and I love dogs! My mother adopted Pitbulls, Poodles, Beagles, Irish terriers, and Dobermans so from very early on I knew how to properly care for a canine friend. When I was in high school my mother tasked me with walking and feeding our dogs immediately after I got out of school. Since I have cared for dogs of all varying sizes and breeds I am familiar with all sorts of harnesses and collars. I'm always trying to give my clients the best experience so I'm currently working on becoming certified in pet CPR. Hope I can meet you or your furry amigo soon! Thanks!

Glen Cove is a city in Nassau County, scenically situated along the north shore of Long Island, New York. It’s also recognized as one of New York State’s top safest cities, making it a great place to raise a family, along with the family dog! Here you can find beautiful waterfront parks, restaurants, and pathways along the Long Island Sound. This city is also home to four veterinary clinics, meaning you never need to go far for great pet care!
The city of Glen Cove has its share of urban parks to explore on your walk with Fido. One pawrific option is Stanco Park. This park is located along Lattingtown Road, with lovely views of the Glen Cove Municipal Golf Course. The park features a variety of athletic fields, playgrounds, and concession stands. Dogs are welcome, of course, as long as they stay leashed and get picked up after.
When your stomachs are growling, go check out La Famiglia Ristorante and Pizzeria. This restaurant features several dog friendly tables on their outdoor patio, where you can enjoy some pizza or pasta next to your best pal. Be sure to call ahead and make sure a dog friendly table is available!
With all of these exciting places you can take you canine companion, Glen Cove is sure to get your dog’s tail wagging!
Glen Cove clearly loves dogs, because they’ve created their own dog park! The Glen Cove Dog Park can be found within Dennis Brian Murray Park, in the City Center of Glen Cove. This pretty park is located on a wooded hillside overlooking the downtown area. Here you can find a large fenced off area where your dog can run and play off-leash in a safe environment. There are also benches, and drinking water available. Dogs are welcome to explore the surrounding park as well, but need to stay leashed when they are not in the fenced off area. After working up an appetite from all that play time, head over to Cedar Creek, located just across Pratt Street from the Dennis Brian Murray Park. This refined American bar and grill has three outdoor dog friendly tables.
If you and your dog are in the Old Tappan Road neighborhood, you’re in for a treat! It’s here that you can find the Welwyn Preserve. This 204 acre nature preserve is located on a former estate, and features a Holocaust Museum inside a 1913 mansion. You can also explore the wild and untamed nature along the many trails throughout the park, including one that leads down to the beach. There are several abandoned buildings and a greenhouse along the trails that have been overtaken by nature and graffiti, and are fascinating to look at. Dogs are welcome to join their humans on the trails, as long as they stay leashed and leave only paw prints!
The Landing neighborhood of Glen Cove is the place to go to get close to the water and the Long Island Sound. A furtastic place to walk your dog in this neighborhood is at the Mercadante Beach. This beach is open to Glen Cove residents only, but is a great place to get to know the neighborhood dogs and humans. The park features some picnic tables to kick back and enjoy the views and sunshine. At the tip of Glen Cove Creek, which splits off from the Long Island Sound, you can find Pratt Park. This park has shade trees, views of the creek and a paved walking path. Dogs are welcome here too! Don’t forget the waste bags and dog treats.
Just across the Hempstead Bay is the small town of Sands Point. This town is proud home to the Sands Point Preserve, and is just a 20 minute drive from Glen Cove. Here you and your dog can walk along the trails and up the cliffs, with beautiful views of the Long Island Sound and the Sands Point Castle. Within the park there are gardens, forests, mansions and shorelines. There is a small entrance fee, and leashed dogs are allowed to explore with their two-legged friends throughout the whole park, except for the beach. There are even waste bags available along the trails. When it’s time for a treat, head over to Nikkei of Peru. Here you can enjoy Japanese or Peruvian cuisine at one of the dog friendly outdoor tables.
Just east of Glen Cove, in the nearby town of Mill Neck, you can find the Shu Swamp Nature Preserve. “Shu” is an old dutch word that means cascading waters, and the nature preserve is rightfully named! This magical place is just a 10 minute drive from Glen Cove, and features brooks and ponds, surrounded by a large variety of trees, flowers and ferns. The preserve has boardwalks over the wetlands, forest paths, footbridges and observation decks. On the southwest end of the Preserve, sits the John P. Humes Japanese Stroll Garden. This garden will transport you to ancient Japan, with the traditional tea houses, gardens and koi ponds. Well-behaved dogs are welcome throughout these areas, as long as they stay leashed and are picked up after.
