This great lunch and dinner spot is deep in the heart of one of Akron’s main residential neighborhoods. It’s still close to downtown, making it a great stop for locals and visitors alike. Goodyear Heighs Metro Park is THE place to be in Goodyear Heights. This park boasts over 400 acres of open space. The multi-use area is used for fishing, sledding, and year-round hiking and walking. There are several trails through the park, and the looped structure makes it easy for you to choose how long or short your walk is. Dogs must remain leashed inside the park, but the bounty of nature and wildlife makes it a great experience for dogs who crave more contact than barking at the neighborhood squirrel.
