“I love every dog!”

I am a stay-at-home dog mom to a lab mix named Stella. I have experience volunteering at animal shelters as well as previous work experience at a doggie day care, and have walked and sat for several of my friends! I have also earned a certificate in Animal Welfare Management from Stautzenberger College. My goal is to be the ‘next best thing’ for your dog when you are not able to be there, and will do my absolute best to make sure your pup is comfortable and happy while in my care.

Dog Walking in Barberton

This pawesome city has humble beginnings. A prolific businessman named Ohio Columbus Barber founded the city in 1891 and established a successful match industry there. This industrial hub sits next to Akron, Ohio and is still booming today.

The best part is that this city welcomes your canine companion! Perhaps the most pawfect place for Barberton dogs (and those from out of town, too) is Decker Park. This park is very large and is located on the west side of town. There is so much for people to do here, and in 2013, the park added a fenced-in, off-leash dog park! Your pup can enjoy running on the soft green grass and making new fur-iends here.

Though it's surrounded by natural beauty, Barberton doesn't have much else to offer when it comes to dog-friendly amenities. However, there are plenty of Fido-friendly things to do just a short drive away from Barberton, so hop in the car and go explore!

This off-leash, fenced-in dog park has plenty of room for your pup to run to his heart's content. If your pooch is social, there are other dogs to make friends with here. If your pooch is more of a loner, the park is big enough that he can play alone if he likes. Every pup is happy here! The terrain is mainly grass. There are some trees for shade and some benches in the park. You will need to bring water and doggie waste bags with you, though. Put on your walking shoes and enjoy a day of running and romping with your pooch!

This off-leash dog park is totally fenced in so you don't have to worry about your pooch running too far. The surface is mainly grass so it is comfy for your pup’s paws. You need to provide a current dog license as well as proof of vaccinations to play at this park. Waste bags and trash cans are provided for you to clean up after your canine pal but you will need to bring water with you. Something to keep in mind is that there is very limited shade, so you and your pooch can get hot quickly here. There are benches and picnic tables available for the owners, though, so you can rest and relax while your pal plays.
