“Fur friends are the best of friends”

Now, I take care of my room mates two German Shepard's and they are the smartest dogs I've ever met. We love to go for walks and meet up with our friend's dogs at the park. You can always feel free to contact me for on demand walks I will respond ASAP. I can't wait to meet and walk your dog!

I'm Scott from Holland, Oh and a proud father of 4 kids (fur babies). I have had the pleasure of raising several dogs and breeds from Pugs, Pittbulls, German Shepherds, Beagles and Dachshunds over the last 35 years. I love all animals and form a bond with not only my own, but friends, family and neighbors as well. I also boarded dogs at my home for several years. I would love the opportunity to spoil your 4 legged family member. I have been a big box retail manager for the last 29 years.
My name is Kendra, and I’m a college student who loves dogs as unconditionally as they love you. Although not a dog-owner myself (allergic mother and strict landlord), I currently privately care for my neighbor’s poodle every day of the week and am over at my friend’s place every weekend to play with their two huskies! Friends and acquaintances can attest to my patience and integrity, and I’m sure your dog will too. I look forward to meeting you and your pup!
Hi! I'm Casey. I'm an actress & makeup artist who grew up in Ohio, always with a dog in the home. Since living in the city, I've missed the rewarding relationship and the joy that comes with having a pup. For this reason, I'm super excited to meet you and your furry buddy!
OU grad. Golf fitness analyst. Dog lover. Whether it’s walking, running, or just playing around, I am the perfect pick to accompany your dog! I’ve logged over 100 walks and loved every single one of them. I have a dog of my own who is a pit bull/American bulldog mix and I understand the difficulties of being able to attend to them 24/7, so I would be more than happy to help you out and spend some time with your pup!
Maumee is a quaint, well-kept, small town which is effectively a suburb of Toledo, since it is only a 13-minute drive away. There are a lot of activities for you and your furtasticfriend to do here, even though there are no off-leash parks. You'll still have a few parks to sniff out, though. Side Cut Park is a real haven for fishermen and birdwatchers, since it opens on to the grand flow of the Maumee River. Another fantastic spot to check out is the Wabash Cannonball Trail, which is a converted rail track created under the Rails-to-Trails initiative, which has established more than 1,600 walking trails across the country.
Maumee has 6 hotels for you and your canine companion to stay in, one of which has no pet fee -- The Red Roof Inn. Comfort Inn only welcomes small dogs, but the rest of Maumee's pet-friendly lodging options don't have any additional fees or restrictions. Maumee also has a great selection of pet-friendly restaurants and veterinary services, some of which offer after-hours care. The weekly farmers' market would be a great place to venture to take in all the sights and smells.
You and Fido would be barking mad to miss out on Maumee!
Located just twenty minutes from Maumee, Bowling Green is a great place to visit, as it's home to a furrific 13-mile hiking and biking trail. Grab your running shoes or cycling shorts and hit the trail! Want some off-leash playtime? Head to the Bowling Green Dog Park! Keep in mind that you'll need to obtain an annual permit to play here. After all that exercise, you'll probably be hungry. There are a couple of simple restaurants you can choose from in the city center: The Pita Pit and Chipotle Mexican Grill. Both establishments cater to canines at the outdoor tables.
Downtown Perrysburg is a pawesome place to visit with a pooch in tow! If you decide you’re going to stay for a little longer, you'll have plenty of lodging options right off I-75, including 4 hotels, 2 vacation rentals, and a campground. La Quinta Inn doesn't have any pet fees or restrictions, and Stony Ridge campground only allows small, non-aggressive pooches to stay. There are also 10 restaurants and eateries to chews from within Perrysburg town limits. If it's just coffee and cake you're after, check out Biggby Coffee. Want something a little more substantial? Head to Swig to savor some cold cuts and enjoy a wide selection of beers.
Rossford is just 7 miles from Maumee. The best thing about this little suburban town located between Maumee
and Toledo is its proximity to the Maumee River. Rossford has several parks
that border the river, offering spectacular views for you to enjoy while your
wag-tailed wonder wanders around (on-leash). These include the beautifully kept
Walbridge Park and the more rugged, fishing-friendly Island View Park. There is
only one dog friendly hotel in town and there is a fee and a weight/size
restriction on the four-legged guests. Hungry? Chow down with your hound at Five Guys, or grab a smoothie or coffee at Tropical
Smoothie Cafe. Both restaurants welcome leashed doggie diners at the outdoor tables.
If it’s fresh air and outdoor activities you and your bounding buddy are after, then there can be no better place than Swanton! This little town, located 13 miles from Maumee, is right beside the massive, 5,000-acre Oak Openings Metro Park. This park is just part of the Oak Openings Preserve, which is a staggering 115,000 acres! There is also a trailhead to the 13-mile Wabash Cannonball Trail. If you decide to camp there’s a great camping and RV park with excellent facilities and no pet fees or restrictions. But if you decide to opt for a little more comfort, head to the budget-friendly Days Inn, which charges an additional fee for four-legged guests.
Located just under 20 minutes from Maumee, Sylvania is a nice town to visit with your four-legged friend for one attraction in particular. Fossil Park. If your doggy dude or dudette is a bit of a digger, then they’re really going to dig this place! This park is one of only two of its kind in the whole world; it’s a 5-acre, safe quarry where you and your doggy digger can find hundreds of fossils in the soft shale! Best part is, you get to keep 'em and bring 'em home. Just remember to bring sun protection and water on hot days. There is also a scenic trail to walk just in case Fido doesn’t want to fetch fossils.
