Dog Walking in St Clairsville

Nicknamed Paradise on the Hilltop, Saint Clairsville is just an hour and half southwest of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. The small town is a wonderful destination for pups and their families with a suburban neighborhood feel, and only 15 minutes outside of the larger town of Wheeling, West Virginia. You won’t have to worry about Fido’s medical care in Saint Clairsville, as there are six well-qualified veterinarian clinics in town offering both emergency services and routine appointments.

When your pooch needs some exercise, head over to Memorial Park on Walnut Avenue. The park is well maintained, and you can stroll along the path and admire the gardens. Fido will love rolling around in the grass, and the kids can hang out on the playground while you watch from a shaded bench and chat with neighbors.

If you need a place to stay while visiting friends and family, America’s Best Value Inn welcomes two pets of any size for an additional fee. There is a nice grassy area surrounding the Inn where you can walk your pup, and the friendly staff will make sure you are on a ground floor with easy access to the outdoors. Just be sure to take some doggie waste bags when you are exercising your pup and clean up.

Active families who enjoy hiking and biking will love the outdoor options in Saint Clairsville. Pups can spend quality time with their families at the parks, pooch-friendly restaurants, and exploring the trails along the Ohio River.
