Washington is a city in Washington County, located in the southwestern section of the state of Pennsylvania. There is lots to see and do here with a dog, meaning you won't be short on places to walk or pet-friendly restaurant options! There are three animal hospitals and three vet clinics in Washington, so you can be assured there is always someone to help should your pet become unwell.
The main park in town is Washington Park and it is a great place for a walk with your pet. You will need to keep your pup leashed here and bring your waste disposal bags. A lovely scenic nature trail will have you forgetting you are still in a city, or take a tour of the facilities on the paved path. Washington Park has all the amenities you need in a community park – a playground, ball fields and courts, a pavilion and picnic areas, restrooms and a concession stand. There is also a pool here for the family to enjoy.

Driscoll Park is another great park close to town where you can enjoy a brisk walk with your pooch. There is a paved path leading around the playground area, and lots of open space for a game of catch or Frisbee.

For a pet-friendly place to sit down for a meal, head to President's Pub. Here you can relax for a meal and a cold drink with your pooch by your feet. Chico Baccello also allows pets outside and is a great little coffee shop with delicious hot drinks, bagels, cookies, muffins and more.

With so many things to do, you and your furry travel buddy will love your stay in Washington!
