Observatory Hill
Your pup will be pleased to head to the Observatory Hill neighborhood of Pittsburg, northeast of McKees Rocks. Here you will find the Riverview Dog Park! Located in Riverview Park, there are two areas separated for large and small dogs, with water bowls and toys provided. Clean up stations are on-site as well. Afterwards, enjoy the people park which spans over 250 acres. There are extensive trails which intertwine through the woods, both level ones for small dogs and steep trails for those more energetic pups. Take the Riverview Loop for a scenic stroll. Brighton Heights
The Brighton Heights Park, in the city of Pittsburg, east of McKees Rocks, is the perfect place for pups to romp! This park offers a great place to let your pup roam on an extended leash throughout their sports fields. Head down one of the many trails for a lovely walk. You might also catch a game of baseball here, as it is the training location for the community’s sports teams. There are restrooms and water fountains on-site, but be sure to clean up after your fur-iendly pup to keep this park pristine.

Sheraden
Pack up your pup and head to the Sheraden Park, in the Sheraden neighborhood of Pittsburgh, south of McKees Rocks. This park celebrated its 100-year anniversary in 2014 and continues today to welcome residents and visitors alike with its dog-friendly things to do. With over 50 acres of land, you and Fido will enjoy lots of open space, just perfect to relax the day away together. Many come to watch the kiddies play in the swimming pool or play on the sports courts. There are also ball fields where you can catch a game. Restrooms and water fountains are on-site.

Windgap
Head to the Windgap neighborhood of Pittsburgh, south of McKees Rocks, for some relaxing time together with your pawtastic friend. Offering two parks, you and Fido will have plenty to do. Try Chartiers Park which offers a walking trail, suitable for any aged dog. This flat trail is also handicapped accessible, perfect for strollers as well. You will also find two pavilions with picnic tables and a kid’s playground. Or try Burkett Park, with its multiple sports fields, where Fido can run on an extended leash. The large picnic shelter is where you can enjoy lunch with your fur-ever friend.

Clever Rd
In the Clever Road neighborhood of McKees Rocks, you and your pup will enjoy Fairhaven Park, offering over 30 acres of pup-friendly activities. Lying among the rolling hills of the area, you and your fur-ever friend can relax on its open spaces. There are picnic shelters with grills, perfect to flip some burgers. The kiddies will delight in Fairhaven’s multiple playgrounds, and there are many sports fields where you can take Fido can catch a game. In-line skating is popular here on its dedicated rink. Indoor restrooms, as well as up pup clean-up stations, are provided throughout the park.
