Frick Park is a nine minute drive from Wilkinsburg, and it’s absolutely worth it. This park is huge! It has a playground and sports fields, but the major draw is the off leash dog park! You have to walk deep into the park, but follow the barks to the most fun your dog can have in Squirrell Hill South! This designated off leash area is not fully fenced, so be careful if your dog is still working on coming when called. It’s set deep into the park, so so there’s little risk in the immediate area.
