This trail is part of the rail-trail and follows along a previously used railroad track. The path is paved and is a perfect place to walk with Fido and push the kids in a stroller. The trail goes through different parts of town and ends on Wood Street just a few blocks from the River. While walking the trail, you can admire a variety of gardens and wildflowers in addition to native plants and plenty of shade trees. At the beginning of the trail, you can view the “Madonna of the Trail” which pays tribute to pioneer women.
