City Park offers a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city with green grass and tall trees your pup will love. There are also picnic tables where you can relax with a treat, as well as tennis courts and a playground for the kids. Don’t forget to check out the famous Tipp City Roundhouse here! Another pawsome place is Canal Lock Park. Here you can play fetch with your beloved companion on the green grass, as well as chill out on the benches and enjoy the views. For a furrific bite to eat, check out the Golden Leaf Tea Room. You can dig into sandwiches and enjoy a hot cup of tea with your pup by your side at one of the outdoor tables.

Here you will find B-K Root Beer, which is a family-owned restaurant that serves some pawsome BBQ food and of course, root beer. You can choose from tasty foods, such as hot dogs, hickory smoked BBQ, burgers and nachos for dinner, as well as choosing from desserts like dipped cones, shakes and a root beer float. But, the best part is that there are outdoor tables where you can relax with your pooch and spend some quality time together!

When you want to go exploring and visit new places with your beloved companion, take a trip next door to the south of Tipp City to the puptown of Vandalia! Here you will find Taylorsville Metro Park, which is a pawsome place to bring your pup for an adventure. You can go on a hike through the forest and on the snifftastic trails, where your pup is sure to love all of the new scents and sights of nature. There is also the oppawtunity to go fishing here, as well as explore the historic ruins around the park. Since bikes are allowed on the trails here at Taylorsville Metro Park, it may be best to keep your canine on leash.
West Vandalia
For a pawsome day out with your furry friend, jump in the car and head six miles southwest from Tipp City to Vandalia! Here you can visit the puptastic four acre Heike Park with your pooch. This is a neighborhood park where you can take your pup for a walk in the woods or play fetch in the open green space. Other amenities here include tennis courts, a play structure for the kids, pickleball courts, horseshoe pits and a furrific disc golf course. If you get hungry and fancy a bite to eat, you can drop by Christy’s. This is a family pizzeria that welcomes doggos and serves up delicious food all day long, including pizza, hoagies and grilled meals. Since there are two outdoor tables here, your canine can sit with you and watch the world go by!
