This beautiful field offers tons of open green space for you dog to run and play, or get a good fetch session in. There is a covered picnic area with tables that you and your pup can use for a picnic, but make sure to bring plenty of water along since there is no shade except for the patio cover. Keep Fido on a leash while visiting, and don't forget to bring your clean-up bags with you to this great field.

Centennial Park

Take your pup over to Centennial Park for a fun afternoon out with you. This beautiful park offer tons of amenities that your dog will be dying to explore. Enjoy the baseball fields, fishing area, picnic shelters, playground, tennis courts, and water fountains that the park offers. There are restrooms for owners, and a great trail that the two of you can get a good walk on together. Your dog will love the pond that sits in the middle of this dogtastic park. Located in Englewood, and only three miles out of Clayton, this is a great destination to check out.

Englewood Reserve

The Englewood Metro Park is an amazing 1,900 acre space to let your dog roam around. This pawsome park has great amenities, like fishing, bird watching, and plenty of picnic tables where you two can enjoy a meal together. Your pup will love exploring the forest and wetlands that sprawl throughout this park, and you may even discover one of three waterfalls within the park on a hike. Plenty of trees provide lots of cooling shade. Make sure to keep your dog on a leash while visiting this amazing park, which is located right outside of Clayton in Englewood.

Westbrook Road/ Cheri Lynn Drive

Your pup will love hanging out at the Westbrook Park with you by his side. This dogtastic park offers a few great amenities, like a disc golf course and tennis courts. The 20-acre park has tons of walking paths and trails that you both can walk along, plus there are plenty of trees in the park to keep you both shaded while you explore together. Bring a picnic and enjoy the picnic tables for a lovely meal. Keep your pup on a leash while you are visiting this park and don't forget to bring water and clean-up bags along.

Beechgrove Heights

If you and your pup are craving a sweet treat, head over to Dairy Queen for a bite to eat and a ice cream, only three miles out of Clayton in Englewood. They offer an array of food, like hamburgers and hot dogs, but also an assortment of frozen desserts. Your dog will love licking an ice cream cone on their outdoor patio with you and enjoy their treat. After a tasty treat, head over to Government Park with your furry pal. The park is filled with a playground and soccer field, plus some benches to sit on. Plenty of trees fill the park to help give shade and there is a small circular path that Fido can get a walk in on.
