East Main
If you enjoy hiking with your best four-legged friend, look no further than East Main in Union City. Union City is almost three miles from Potsdam, so the city is a perfect place for a getaway. The local trails of Union City are connected by rails and corridors to form a unique hiking experience. Union City is also right on the line between Ohio and Indiana. Thus, after a long hiking adventure in Union City, you can drive on over the border to see what Indiana has in store. Your dog will have a pawsome time smelling new scents and spending quality time with their favorite person ever: you!

A little over an hour away, within the city of Muncie, Indiana, the beautiful neighborhood of Anthony boasts a welcoming Fido-friendly atmosphere. The fully fenced (and puntastically named!) Bark Park at ARF is available for all dogs to use, but since the dog park is double gated, you will first have to complete a quick application (noting your dog’s recent vaccinations) and pay a small fee prior to accessing a gate key. The form is quick and simple to process, and is only in place to ensure protection of all dogs as they play in the open fields of this pawesome dog park.

Spring Grove
An estimated forty minutes from Potsdam, Spring Grove is the pawfect destination for dogs and their canine-loving companions. Highly rated with four bones, the local Hill’s Bark Park provides dogs and their owners a fenced-in area for safe play. Separate areas are also available for small dogs to have an equal opportunity for safe play. With plenty of shade and two dog water fountains, it is no wonder that this park is rated so highly. The fields are full of grass to frolic and play in, so bring a few dog toys for games of fetch and frisbee.

Twenty minutes from Postdam, downtown Tipp City is home to a very welcoming dog park. Kyle Dog Park is highly rated amongst park goers, and with a fully fenced, large grassy area housing several picnic tables and benches, it is not hard to see why. With a beautifully scenic view of the waterfront and nature, Kyle Dog Park is a perfect place for reflection and mutts-needed time with Fido. There is also a recreational trail in Tipp City where you can hike for hours with your leashed dog. A scenic view of the river can be seen in the distance from this trail, so bring a camera!

Although West Chester is about one hour from Potsdam, the local ambiance supports dog-friendly amenities. The local dog park is rated four bones by current park goers, and is full of recently added luxuries. With agility equipment, water, and three separate fenced areas, Wiggly Field Dog Park is sure to keep your dog’s tail wagging. The fields are open and spacious enough to comfortably house numerous dogs for playtime fun without the crowded feeling of a smaller dog park. There are usually dogs here in the park for your dog to become friends with, as well as plenty of room for games of fetch and obedience training.
