Miamisburg Mound State Memorial is a small park, just 5 miles from Germantown. This park is best known for the 68-foot-high burial mound left behind from the Adena culture, and is the largest mound west of the Mississippi River. Get your pup's leash on, and your running shoes, and climb the 117 steps to the top of the Mound. Here, you can see a great panoramic view of the city. Bring a picnic along and enjoy more time with your pup in the beautiful outdoors before heading back home. The park has an open flat area at the base of the mound for an easier leashed walk or a game of Fetch.

Riverfront Park, just five miles from Germantown, in Miamisburg, covers 7 acres of green space along the Great Miami River, and offers a long trail through the center for a pawsome walk near the river.
