The Two Pan Trailhead is a great hike to go one with your furry pal. The trail has a 5,600-foot elevation and will take you through the Eagle Cap Wilderness. The trailhead offers camping if you and Fido want to spend a few nights exploring. The trail will take you between Mirror and Minam Lakes before opening into a valley.  The trail can get steep, so make sure to keep an eye on your pup while you hike. Located in Enterprise and only eight miles out of Lostine, your dog will love exploring this trail with you.

The Nez Perce National Historic Park is a great place to spend the day with Fido. The park offers trails that you and Fido can use for a nice walk together. There are also restrooms and picnic tables available if you would rather relax in the park. The Iwetemlaykin State Heritage Site gives you a stunning view of the Wallowa Mountains with trails that will take you through the area. While hiking, you will come across a small pond. The McCully Trailhead is another great area to take a hike with your dog. There are restrooms and picnic tables at the trailhead. These pawtastic adventures are located in Joseph, eleven miles out of Lostine.

The Minam State Recreational Area offers some great activities for you and your pup. While you're out at the park you can camp, fish, or enjoy the picnic area. There are hiking trails you and Fido can use for a nice walk and a river where you can cool down. The Cougar Ridge Trailhead is on the outskirts of Wallowa and offers a great hike through the Eagle Cap Wilderness. You will mainly hike along a ridgetop, but also be able to explore a forested area.
