Merlin is a small community in Josephine County, Oregon, that is most known for its sports fishing and whitewater rafting on the adjacent Rogue River. Merlin sits outside of the larger town of Medford, and a perfect getaway if your pup loves the peace and quiet. Home to one veterinarian, your dog will be in great spirits while hanging around Merlin with you.

The Merlin Community Park is a beautiful park to take your dog to for a good walk. The park offers restrooms, a playground, picnic area, and plenty of grass for fetch. There are plenty of trees to help provide shade, but make sure to keep your dog on a leash when you visit, and don't forget your clean-up bags.

Take your pup out to Riffle Cafe for a bite to eat. This cafe is small, but your dog will love the Hawaiian theme that the cafe offers, plus all the delicious food. Their menu offers large portions with breakfast, lunch, and dinner choices that you can enjoy on the outdoor patio that welcomes your four-legged friend to come along.

After checking out all the pawsome amenities that Merlin has to offer your dog, he is never going to want to leave this beautiful town.
