Dog Areas in Nesika Beach

Nesika Beach is a coastal community in Curry County. Although it’s small in size, it has no shortage of beauty. Miles of sandy beach beckon four legged nature lovers and those seeking some respite from the hustle and bustle of life. Unfurtunately, there is no veterinary clinics in Nesika Beach. If your pooch feels under the weather, she’ll have to travel about 10 miles south to Gold Beach for care.

The main feature of this community is the eponymous Nesika Beach. Your pooch will be in heaven as he explores this stretch of the Oregon Coast. Oddly enough, this particular beach is uncrowded and you may even have the place to yourselves! Or you may see a couple beachcombers, surfers, or anglers enjoying the tides. Watch your pup’s tail wag as he sniffs around the rocks and piles of driftwood or splashes rambunctiously through the waves. Stroll along the surf and search for shells and sand dollars or bring a sandwich and enjoy a picnic with your pup. This is also a great whale watching area. If you happen to be here in the winter, you and your furry BFF can watch the dramatic storms roll in from the sea.

No wonder dogs love Nesika Beach!
