The Face Rock State Scenic Viewpoint is a lovely area to take your pup to for a great day at the beach. The viewpoint offers picnic tables, beach access, and sea stacks that you and Fido can enjoy together. The viewpoint also has hiking trails for a great walk, and there are restrooms if owners need them. The beach is open year-round, so you and your pup can visit at any time. Make sure to keep your dog on a leash when you are visiting the beach, and don't forget to bring water and clean-up bags along with you. If Fido is hungry after exploring Bandon, stop into Angelo's Italy for a bite to eat. This Italian restaurant offers classic Italian food, plus good wine. Their menu includes pasta, pizza, and bruschetta. The Bandon Fish Market is a casual eatery that dishes out amazing seafood dishes. Locals love their fish tacos or their clam chowder in a bread bowl.

Coquille

Head over to Sturdivant Park for a fun afternoon out with your dog. The park offers a picnic area with grills, firepits, a pavilion, and it sits along the Coquille River. There is a great paved loop trail that goes around the park that you and your dog can use for a good walk. The Lions Creek Park sits along the Calloway Creek and offers a forested area that you and Fido can explore together and get a good walk in. While exploring the park you will be shaded by tons of trees to keep you and your dog cool. The 5th Street Park which offers amazing amenities like grills, a playground, and picnic tables. There is a nice grass area if this park that Fido can use for a game of fetch as well. All of these amazing parks are located in Coquille, and eighteen miles out of Bandon.

North Coquille

The Laverne County Park is a lovely 350-acre park to take Fido to for an amazing day out. The park offers swimming, picnicking, fishing, camping, and sits along the Coquille River. The picnic area is covered to keep everyone cool and even has a kitchen, plus there are large BBQs and a softball field. The park is filled with hiking trails that range from easy to difficult, perfect for any hiker and their pup that is visiting. While at this great park make sure your dog stays on a leash and pay attention to signs since there are certain areas that your dog isn't allowed. Located in Coquille, your dog will love this huge park.

North Bandon

Check out the Seven Devils State Recreation Site with your furry pal by your side. This awesome beach park offers picnicking, fishing, and restrooms for owners. Your leashed dog is welcome to join you on the beach where you can walk several miles down the coast and get a good walk in while you are dipping your toes into the sand. If your dog likes peace and quiet, then this is the park for him since it is a lesser known park in Bandon and not heavily populated. The Bullards Beach State Park has 4.5-miles of beach, sand dunes, and campsites that you and Fido can explore. The beach has hiking trails that Fido can use for a good walk, and if you hike far enough, it will connect you to the Seven Devils Recreation Site.

Northeast Bandon

The Judah Parker County Park is one of the only parks in Bandon that isn't located on the beach, but if your dog loves water, it's near the Coquille River. The only amenities this park offers is picnic tables and a nice open green space for your pup to run. There is a small packed trail that goes around the park that you and your dog can use for a walk before heading home for the day. There aren't many trees in this park to help provide shade s,o make sure to bring water along while you are visiting.
