Lakeside North
You will find the northern part of Lakeside a convenient destination, especially if you travel from Reedsport with Fido. In a short drive, no more than 20 minutes south, you'll find the vast area of William M. Tugman State Park along the Oregon Coast Highway. This is a wonderful place to take your pup for a hike or a day outdoors! You can hike near the southern part of the lake, following the multiple trails and loops, or enjoy some quality time with your fur baby while fishing, canoeing, or just relaxing and taking in the beauty of the park's untamed wilderness.

Tenmile
Tenmile is tucked in the western end of Lakeside, but the area belongs to North Bend, a city in Coos County located 30 miles south of Reedsport. If you love hiking and your pooch has endless energy, John Dellenback Dunes Trail is a wonderful hiking spot winding throughout sand dunes, spruce forests, and a beach area. Need some adrenaline and an unforgettable experience? Explore the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Center on a dune buggy! You can choose your own path, traveling along the dunes and trails or enjoying a view of the Pacific Ocean. Make sure that your buddy is leashed and feels comfortable in the back of the buggy.

Tremont Avenue North
Tremont Avenue is one of the main arterial streets connecting North Bend and Coos Bay together, offering a range of shops, drive-thrus, and fast food options for locals and frequent visitors. If your pup is tired from a long ride and needs a place to stretch his legs, Gracie Land, a small, fenced dog park in the northern part of Coos Bay, will be a perfect option! The park is adjacent to Coos Bay Toyota, which operates and maintains the area, but is open to public year-round from dawn to dusk! This simple facility is a great pit-stop to chat with locals, play fetch, or just walk around with Fido.

Coquille
Coquille is a city in and the county seat of Coos County, located about an hour's ride south of Reedsport. The city features an industrial area that's mostly centered around the lumber industry. Coquille isn't the dog-friendliest place in the world, but it has the pawfect place for Fido to play! Coquille Dog Park, an expansive and fenced dog spot, is located within the 5th Street Park area and invites pooches from all over to ditch the leash and sniff out some new canine companions. Set in the heart of the city, the park has benches, plenty of shade, running drinking water, and is very easy to find.

Harlow
Enjoy the mix of a busy downtown area and small-town serenity in Harlow, one of the central neighborhoods in Eugene, OR. Nestled on the banks of Willamette River, Harlow features residential quarters outlined by the OR-126 to the north and Alton Baker Park to the south. This lush area features more than 380 acres of open space in the heart of the city! You can enjoy all kinds of furrific outdoor activities here. Boat, fish, kayak, or hit the miles of walking trails before ending the day at the off-leash area. The dog park, located behind Autzen Stadium, features benches, drinking water fountains and lots of room to run with other mutts!
