Gresham Butte is about 4.5 miles northwest of Orient. This residential neighborhood features single-family homes on wooded lanes. There are a few parks and walking trails near here. A fun place to explore with your canine pal is Hogan Butte Nature Park on the south side of this community. You'll find a picnic area, an interpretive walking trail, and scenic views of the Cascade Mountain Range in the facility. Hike to the volcano viewpoint with your four-footed friend, then share some food at one of the tables. As long as your fur-baby stays on a lead, they're welcome to join you.

Kelly Creek

Kelly Creek

Just 2.5 miles northwest of Orient, the Kelly Creek neighborhood in Gresham includes an elementary school, some farmland, and residential developments. There's a walking path behind the elementary school where you can go for exercise. A pawesome park in the neighborhood is Southeast Community Park on Salquist Road. This undeveloped 16-acre facility includes forest, wetlands, and wooded areas. Hike along the rolling slopes with your special pal and enjoy the fresh air while you exercise. You'll need to bring some refreshments with you when you come. Keep Fido secure with a leash and remember to carry bags to remove any waste.

About three miles northwest of town, you'll find the Powell Valley neighborhood of Gresham. This community includes a middle school, apartment buildings, houses, and a few parks. Head over to the Oregon Trail Center on NE Burnside Road to go shopping and grab a bite to eat. For some outdoor time with your pooch, head to Kane Road Park off NE Kane Drive. This facility offers open lawn, a playground, picnic tables, and access to Kelly Creek. Play in the grass or walk by the water with Spot for exercise here. Keep them on a lead when you visit this property.

Southwest

The Southwest neighborhood of Gresham is about 4.7 miles west of here. In this area, you'll find an elementary school, some farms, a few parks, and streets with single-family homes. Jenne Butte Park is a furrific place for you and your furry friend to explore nature together. This undeveloped property is located off SW Border Way and features wetlands, woods, and springs. Climb the hill with your canine pal and catch sight of Mount Hood in the distance. Bring refreshments for you and your pup. Always keep them secure with a leash. Pack bags that you can use to remove any messes.
City Central

City Central

City Central in Gresham includes apartments, administrative buildings, single-family homes, and some businesses. Visit the Center for the Arts Plaza and Historic Downtown Gresham for a taste of culture and history.  For an outing with Fido, head to Main City Park. Here, you'll find walking paths, picnic facilities, athletic fields, and an off-leash area for your special pal. Pups can play and socialize in this place as long as they're non-aggressive. After your pooch spends time with some four-footed friends, attach the lead to stroll through other parts of the property. Carry bags with you to remove any droppings left by your fur-baby.
