Take Fido out to the Carruther's Dog Park for some off leash time. The dog park offers a separated area for large and small dogs, plus water and a waste station area is provided. The park is fully fenced in to help keep your pup safe, and offers plenty of shade to keep him cool. If Fido isn't much of a social butterfly, take a great hike on the Warrenton Waterfront Trail. This trail is 4.7-miles long with an asphalt surface so you both can easily navigate the trail. The hike takes you through the Carruthers Memorial Park and along the Columbia River. The Carruthers Memorial Park is home to a lot of local wildlife, so make sure to keep your pup on a leash while you hike.

SE Ensign Lane

After being out and about for a bit, Fido could start getting a bit hangry. Stop into The Uptown Cafe to ward off the hunger and get some delicious food together. They dish out tavern-style comfort food that is made with locally sourced ingredients. Favorites include the open faced chili burger or the seafood mac and cheese. Besides delicious food, they also offer great mixed drinks that pair perfectly with any meal you decide to get. There's also an outdoor patio that welcomes your furry pal to dine alongside you before the two of you head out onto your next adventure together.

Sunset Beach

If your pup is a water loving dog, take him out to the Del Rey Beach State Recreation Site for an awesome afternoon out. While visiting this dogtastic beach, your pup needs to stay on leash, and make sure to clean-up after him. The beach offers a great area for a walk, or a nice place to sit down and have a picnic with your pup. Make sure to bring water with you to the beach since there isn't any shade. The beach is popular among horseback riders, so if your dog isn't a fan, then you may want to consider a diffrent spot for a walk.

SW 3rd St/ SW Alder Ave

The Warrenton City Park is a great park to visit with your four legged friend. The park offers great amenities like two separate playgrounds, a grassy area for fetch, some shaded areas, and baseball diamonds. There is a great walking path around the park where you and your pup can get a good walk in as well. The park is known to hold events, like concerts in the parks, so make sure your pup is good with a crowd before heading out. Don't forget your cleanup bags and water when you head out to this great park. 

N Main Ave/ SW Main Ct

The Lighthouse Park offers a great area for you and your pup to go out and get a great walk in together. This pawsome park has a walking path, grass for fetch, picnic tables, and a gazebo for some shade. The park is right next to the Warrenton Seafood Market where you both can stop in for a snack after the park. They dish out seafood inspired foods with a ton of outside seating, so your furry pal can join you for a meal or light bite to eat. Grab favorites like fish tacos or crab legs that Fido will be drooling over.
