In the Bethel neighborhood of the town of Hopkinton, Briggs Memorial Park is waiting for you and your pawtastic pup to spend some time here. This park is a tribute to veterans and is the perfect location for you and Fido to spend some quality time together. Relaxation is the goal for the day here, with paved paths for strolling and benches to sit. Landscaped grounds are a beautiful addition to this area and offer a scenic view during your rejuvenation time. There are no restrooms here or drinking fountains, so plan accordingly for your day with your fur-ever friend.

In the Bradford neighborhood of the town of Westerly, 3 miles southeast of Ashaway, you will find the Pawcatuck River Loop. This is the perfect trail to walk with your fur-iendly pup! Take this for 2.8 miles which runs along the Pawcatuck River. ou and your pup will enjoy scenic views while traversing this loop trail that is not heavily travelled, so it is the perfect place to spend quality time together. Any fitness-level pup will have a great time here as this loop is rated as ‘easy.’ So, grab your leash and your pup, and enjoy your hike here!24
Osbrook Point/ Watch Hill
Check you the Barn Island Wildlife Management Area, in the Osbrook Point/ Watch Hill neighborhood of Stonington, Connecticut, 4.8 miles southwest of Ashaway, just over the state line. You and your pawtastic friend have a whopping 1000 acres to visit here and tons of wildlife. Jump on the Barn Island Wildlife Management Area Trail for an exciting 5.1-mile loop through the area, which offers a beautiful hike for all. Pups are welcome on leash throughout, but they must remain on leash while walking on the trail. Be sure to pack water, snacks and binoculars to spot the diverse ecosystems here.

Pawcatuck
In the Pawcatuck neighborhood of the town of Stonington, Connecticut, 4.8 miles southwest of Ashaway, just over the Rhode Island state line, you and your pawtastic pup are encouraged to visit two of the area’s parks. Moss Park and Stonington Town Park are both the perfect day getaway to get outdoors with Fido. These parks both feature open green space for you to spread out a blanket and relax. There are paved paths as well, perfect for you to take a stroll with them on leash. Restrooms and water fountains are available at both parks.Central Westerly
Grab your pup and head over to Wilcox Park, in the Central Westerly neighborhood, of the town of Westerly, 3 miles southeast of Ashaway. Here you will find a beautifully landscaped park for you and Fifi to enjoy. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, scenic views abound here. Although the town’s arboretum here is not pup friendly, Wilcox Park is! Fifi will love strolling along the paved paths that are perfect for any pup-ability. Restrooms are on site as well as water fountains. Please keep your pup on leash throughout.
