My name is Taylor and I am 19 years old. I attend Mount Ida College. I was originally a Vet-Tech major, but I recently switched to Business Administration. I’ve grown up around animals, especially dogs. I have three dogs at home, a beagle, a corgi, and a Bernese Mountain dog as well as a Holland Lop Bunny. Our corgi is an epileptic, so we have to take special precautions to make sure he is happy and healthy. I’d love to help families who are at home to let their dogs out or walk them so that their dogs can stay happy and healthy as well. I have a passion for animals And being around them brings me joy.

I am a recent college graduate in Industrial Design, and I do sewing work from home. Working from home was a bit lonely, so I adopted my pup named Beau and he keeps me company. I have spent my free time training Beau at home and with an obedience trainer. Whether it’s going for a walk around downtown Newport, playing on the beach or snuggling on the couch, there’s always something for us to do!

Hi My name is Jack Ryan, and I’m so excited to be your next dog walker! It all started on my first day of 1st grade when my parents arrived at home with a brand new puppy! Our first puppy was the first time I knew I wanted to find a career path with animals. I have never been the same since! I have grown up with animals my entire life. Caring for animals has been my life-long ambition. In addition to caring for my personal pets, I am a full time student at University of Rhode Island. I plan to pursue my interest in dog walking this summer in the big apple! Please feel free to reach out to me if there are any questions about my wag experience and animal care experience. I can’t wait to meet you and your adorable fur ball.

Dog Walking in Charlestown

Come down by the sea to enjoy the perfect balance of things to do and time with nature in Charlestown, RI. Dogs love being wherever their humans are, but they also love to step out of the city and get back to their natural roots. Charlestown balances a canine-focused community with great access to nature. There are three veterinary clinics in town and plenty of room to roam. Head to Ninigret National Wildlife Area to appreciate the natural beauty that Charlestown commands.

Your dog will want to “sit and stay!” at K & S Pizza & Restaurant. They serve up locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, and have outdoor tables where dogs love to “lay down!” Grab a slice from a variety of original combinations or make your own trademark pizza.

East Beach State Beach is a great place to walk the sands with your dog. Dogs have to be on leash and outside of main tourist season (typically October 1st to March 31st is the right time to go). Get a great view and relax! If your pet loves to ruff it, stay at Burlingame State Campground! Dogs can camp in the RV or tent spaces provided they’re on leash outside the camp site.

Take your four legged buddy over to Pasquiset Pond Preserve for some outdoor fun. Your pup will love spending some quality time with you as your wander through this stunning space.  You have the choice of two trails; the shorter one leads through a grove of large white pines. The longer one guides you through the wetlands and around some ponds. Both may lead you to plenty of native birds to keep your dog’s attention. Also watch for dragonflies and damselflies that live in the area. Bring a leash, since dogs must be tethered at all times. There’s no question about it, your furry pal will have a woofin’ good time!
