South Gatlinburg

Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park go hand-in-hand, and whether you live in the area or you are just visiting, you'll want to visit this park again and again. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited national park in America, so it's often very busy, but there are over 800 miles of trails to explore. Dogs aren't allowed on all of these trails, but you still have several options where Fido can join you, including the 1.9-mile Gatlinburg Trail or the 1.5-mile Oconaluftee River Trail. Dogs are also allowed on the campgrounds and the picnic areas, so there is plenty to do there with your canine companions!

Downtown Gatlinburg

You will have so much fun exploring Gatlinburg with your dog, and luckily The Village Shops in downtown Gatlinburg have made this very easy to do! There are 27 shops to explore, including a pet supply store, and many of these stores allow dogs inside so you won't have to leave yours at home. True to its name, The Village Shops really are situated as a village to stroll through, and the outdoor areas are wooded and very scenic. There are several restaurants in downtown Gatlinburg with excellent patios where you can people watch and grab a bite while Fido sits by your side.

South Central Sevierville
