West Main Street
The first stop on your food adventure featuring Fido should be West Main Street, in the heart of Sylva. Unsurprisingly, you’ll find a delectable restaurant at nearly every turn, but one of the highest-rated just happens to allow your pup to join you on the outdoor patio as well. Lulu’s on Main has a wide selection of international foods to choose from, from their fungi appetizer, which features shitake mushrooms and goat cheese, to their delectable pork belly. Vegetarian and vegan options are available as well for the more health conscious dog owner. Your dog may turn their nose up at the salads, but you’re sure to enjoy them.36

Jackson Street
If you’re looking for some sweeter options, or maybe just a fresh cup of joe, you’d be doggone crazy to miss out on City Lights Cafe on Jackson Street. Offering both savory and sweet treats, there’s something for almost any taste at this lovely establishment. There are a number of dog-friendly tables outside, so bring your pup on their trusty leash, and settle in for a tasty bite with a delicious brew. You may want to bring extra treats for your pup -- just so they don’t feel like they’re missing out! There’s a reason they’re drooling at this cafe!24

Skyland Drive
For those with a taste for seafood, you’re definitely in luck. Parade behind the pitter patter of your pup's paws all the way to Skyland Drive, where you’ll find the Creekside Oyster House and Grill. Offering the classic seafood selections, from popcorn shrimp to catfish, you really can’t go wrong with any of the delicious entrees offered here. Your dog will be welcome to join you on the outdoor patio, and you and your canine companion can enjoy the beautiful views of the babbling river that flows just outside the patio. With scenery and food like this, how can you say no?12

Vance Street
To finish off your trip, and work off all those good eats, your pup is going to want the opportunity to run free a bit -- an opportunity that is perfectly presented on Vance Street in Waynesville, NC. There is where you’ll find Waynesville Pepsi Dog Park, a fully fenced park where your pup can go dog wild having some off-leash fun. There is a separate area for small dogs; however, water is not provided, so you’ll need to bring plenty of clean drinking water for both you and your pup. Just the same, your canine companion is sure to have a ball here -- a tennis ball, that is!
