Here you can tuck into some delicious food, such as steaks, pasta and sandwiches, as well as grab a sweet treat. There are three dog friendly tables out front where you can sit and enjoy your meal, while your pup can lay down and enjoy watching new people pass by. If you need somewhere to stay for the night, check out the Quality Inn. Here you can bring two furry friends weighing up to 25 Ibs for only a small additional fee.

Christianburg/ East Sweetwater

For an adventure with your pup, head to Duck Park when you are in Sweetwater. This pawsome place has plenty of green open space for your pooch, as well as a walking path around the pond. Just as the name suggests, you can feed the ducks and geese that live here, which means it may be best to keep your furry friend on his leash. If you need a place to stay, try a room at the Rodeway Inn. You can bring two pups weighing up to 25 Ibs for only a small additional fee. Larger dogs over this weight can stay too for a slightly more expensive rate. Be sure to book your room in advance to avoid disappointment!

Madisonville City Center

Madisonville is next door to Sweetwater, and offers a puptastic spot for your pup. Enjoy a day out at Kefauver Park, which is a beautiful green park where pups can have a ball! There is a sniff-tastic walking trail you can exercise on with your pooch, and a pond where you can feed the ducks or have the oppawtunity to fish. Since there is plenty of green open space at Kefauver Park, there is nowhere better to play fetch! There are also playgrounds for the kids, as well as tennis courts and basketball courts. Be sure to bring some water and treats for your panting pup!

Big Creek/ Hiwassee College

If you are looking for a pawsome dog friendly café to visit with your furry friend, you are in luck! You will find Henry’s Casual Café just next door to Sweetwater in the furiendly city of Madisonville. Here you can chill out and enjoy favorite foods, such as burgers, pizza and sandwiches, as well as ice cream for dessert. There are seven outdoor tables where your pup is welcome to join you and watch the world go by. This café is locally owned and has a relaxed atmosphere, which means it is perfect for enjoying a day out with your pooch.

Calloway

Every dog loves a trip to the dog park; that is why you should jump in the car and drive 10 miles north of Sweetwater to Loudon! Here you will find the pawsome City of Loudon Parks & Recreation Dog Park! Let your pup roam and have fun off-leash since it is all fenced in, and it even features a separate area for smaller pooches. What a great oppawtunity to make some new furry friends! There are also dog waste bags provided in case you furgot your own. Just be sure to bring some water and treats for your pup when it is hot outside.
