Willis is an agricultural community in north central Montgomery County in Texas. The town started rapidly developing after the construction of Union Pacific Railroad. Now, it's a friendly spot to stop by for a retreat from the big city. Willis is a part of Piney Woods, a forest ecoregion in southern Texas. As such, it provides plenty of amenities for travelers and tourists, featuring several hotels, RV parks, and a few pet-friendly eateries, mostly fast-food restaurants. Three vet hospitals serve the area in Willis so that pups are well taken care of.

Old County Ranch RV Park is a relaxed resort just a few miles away from the town, close to Conroe Regional Airport. It’s probably the best pet-friendly resort in Texas! It offers some furrific amenities: plenty of space for hookups, a local swimming pool, fast WiFi, and walking trails! If you decide to stop by with Fido, there’s also a dog park for some off-leash time! The trails are multi-purpose and suitable for jogging, cycling, or just walking. Puppies are welcome on-leash.
