“Full time. Any dog. Any weather. Extended hours :)”

Dog walking is my life! I can read dogs very well and quickly gain their trust and obedience. I’m great with high energy dogs, stubborn dogs, dogs that pull, dogs that snap, escape artists, dogs with dominance issues, dogs with triggers, handling multiple dogs at once and any other scenario concerning safety. I’m gentle, affectionate, attentive, protective, and caring and will provide the perfect experience no matter your dog’s size, breed, or temperament. Thanks for choosing me as your walker!

Hi! My name is Wendy. I love dogs, but who among us doesn't, right?! I have experience with dogs from a wide range breeds, sizes, and temperaments. After growing up with dogs on our farm, I volunteered at animal shelters, worked at a pet store for two years, and completed a certified dog training program. I currently have two fur-babies of my own, Steve and Gizmo. I am looking forward to taking care of your pups like they were my own, whether it be for a walk or while you're out of town for vacation.

I've always loved animals from a young age. My pets are an extension of my family. I have a 3 years old Lab Mix puppy and 3 year cat too. Both were rescued and have grown up together. I've learned a lot from them about patience, affection, discipline and how to care for their well-being. I would take good care of your dog as if he or she were my own.

Dog Walking in Gainesville

Gainesville was once a busy stagecoach interchange, as well as a point from which numerous natural resources were shipped, including cattle, grain and timber. It was also an important path for soldiers to travel to reach nearby Bull Run where 2 significant Civil War battles were fought. It was in the mid-1990s when the area began to evolve into a suburb of Washington, DC. But as urban as this town is, it also offers plenty of opportunity for you and Fido to do stuff together!

The Historic Manassas Battlefield National Park resides in Gainesville. Your canine companion is welcome to visit its 5,073 acres on leash and explore along with you the place where the Battles of Bull Run occurred. Rolling hills, wooden anti-cavalry fences and old cannons greet you and your fur-buddy as you hike through the fields and woodlands. Watch out for muddy spots! And don’t forget to bring water for yourself and Fido!

Don’t miss one of the most popular restaurants in Gainesville: The Bone. As the name implies, this is a dog-friendly eatery with lots of outdoor tables where your fur-baby can help you chow down on meat, meat and more meat, with an occasional side of cornbread or collards for variety. Bone a petit!
