A kid's playground and sport fields are open from dawn until dusk and offer you and Fido the chance to catch a ball game, or just sit and relax together on a park bench. Virginia Woods

When in Moneta, don't miss out on the chance to get in touch with nature by camping out in the great outdoors. Wag to the Virginia Woods neighborhood to enjoy a night of star-gazing and marshmallow roastin' at the Sweetwater RV Park. The owners are locals who will "bend over backwards" to make sure you and Fido are comfortable and welcome! Enjoy the quiet side of camp life or go out and enjoy exploring the countryside and the beautiful Smith Mountain Lake. The Sweetwater RV Park offers spacious sites at an affordable rate. Waterfront

Before you head out of Moneta, make sure to stop by the Bridgewater Plaza in the Waterfront neighborhood to enjoy a classic dessert treat at a local ice cream parlor known as the Ice Cream Cottage.
