Having lived alongside several amazing canine companions all my life, I understand the importance of finding knowledgeable, trustworthy caretakers to look look after your four-legged family members. My years of experience as an animal rescuer, shelter volunteer, and veterinary assistant providing onsite and in-home clinical care render me well-equipped to meet your pet's unique care needs. I have been fortunate to work domestically and internationally with breeds of all sizes, temperaments, and backgrounds. Whether during a walk, on the grooming table, or playing fetch in the backyard, your dog's comfort and safety are always my top priorities. I look forward to devoting my undivided attention to your furry friend sometime soon!

Hi there fellow dog-lovers!! My name is Emily and I’m a current graduate student who can’t afford a pet of my own right now, but misses going on walks/runs with my dog. I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs and it brings me so much joy to be able to brighten their day with a quick walk, snuggle, or play session! I would absolutely love to spend time with your doggo as well if you’ll let me.

I moved to Bethesda from Virginia two years ago to work as a cancer research fellow. Growing up, I had a Peekapoo named Thomas (after the tank engine!) and loved taking him on long walks and snuggling with him on my lap. When I moved home for eight months after graduating college, my parents had just adopted a redbone coonhound puppy who we named Penny because of her copper colored fur. Penny has a lot of energy so we go on many walks when I visit home and we swim together at the lake in the summertime. Before college, I walked my neighbor’s rescue dogs whenever she went out of town to visit her daughters. When I worked as an ER medical scribe after college, I dog-sat for a physician and his wife whenever they went on vacation. I love dogs and walking outdoors, so walking for Wag! is an exciting opportunity for me to do both!
Hello I’m Anderson! I’m 26 and recently moved to Roanoke, VA from Wisconsin to work at the Virginia Safari Park as a giraffe keeper. I have 7 years of experience with both domestic and exotic animals. I’ve walked a wide variety of dog breeds at a local humane society back home. I always put the animals needs first. My whole life I’ve been passionate about animals and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!
