Gainsboro

Gainsboro in Roanoke is the downtown area of the city, offering several pup-friendly opportunities for dining and fun. It’s only slightly over three miles from Vinton, so you can get there in a jiffy! If you love exercising and want your furry pal to join in, then head to K9 Fit Club, a gym that helps you and Sparky spend some quality time together while also getting fit! Woodcliff is another Roanoke neighborhood that’s slightly over four miles from Vinton. This neighborhood is the home of Mill Mountain, a 500-acre park with trails, picnic areas, open areas, and more. You and your dog can hop on the Mill Mountain Star Trail if you’re up for a hike! This trail takes you to the top of Mill Mountain, where you can get some incredible views of the city below. If you’re hungry, check out Fork in the Alley, a casual restaurant with American favorites like sandwiches and pizza.
