This includes Mill Mountain Coffee & Tea, where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast like oatmeal and omelettes, or tuck into a sandwich and salad for lunch! There are four tables outdoors where you and your furry friend can sit together. The Three Li’l Pigs Barbeque Restaurant is a furrific place for some meat, serving up ribs, steak and burgers! There is something on the menu for everyone here, and your pooch is more than welcome at one of the outdoor tables. If you like craft beer, then you will love the Flying Mouse Brewery! Here you can enjoy a pint and spend some quality time with our pup out on the patio.

Here you will find the pawsome Walrond Park, where you can burn some excitable energy and enjoy some playtime with your pooch. There is plenty of open green grass that your doggo will love, as well as sniff-tastic trails you can explore, with a 2.3 mile walking path around Walrond Pond. Other furrific amenities at Walrond Park include grills and picnic shelters, a playground for the kids, tennis courts, Frisbee Golf, baseball fields and soccer fields. All pups are welcome, as long as they remain on leash.

Here you will find the Read Mountain Reserve, which has more than 243 acres of forests you can explore with your pooch. There are around five miles of sniff-tastic trails for tails that are peaceful and fun for your beloved canine. Of course, the most-loved trail is the two mile hike up to Buzzards Rock. This could be a difficult one for you and your pup, but you will be rewarded with beautiful views of the Roanoke Valley at the top! Be sure to bring some treats and water for your panting pooch when you are visiting Read Mountain Reserve to keep his energy high!
