Riner is a small village that includes private residences and public schools. There are quiet country lanes out here where you and your fur baby can take a stroll together. For an outdoor adventure with fido, head west about 16 miles to Claytor Lake State Park near Dublin. This 472 acre facility has over 7 miles of trails, picnic areas, lake access, and camping. Plan a day trip or overnight with your special pal. Dogs are permitted to join you in designated areas as long as you keep them on a leash that's no longer than six feet. Atkinson Acres
The residential neighborhood of Atkinson Acres is about 5.5 miles southeast of Riner. This Christiansburg development has peaceful blocks where you can take your pooch for a walk.
