W Wind Drive
Your pup will love a drive to the W Wind Drive neighborhood in Max Meadows, where you both can enjoy a guided tour of the West Wind Farm Vineyards. Open year-round, the this fourth generation farm offers owners to come taste exquisite wines with their pup, who will be happy to offer Fido some water and treats upon your visit! This small home-grown winery is conveniently located south of Max Meadows near the State Park. Make sure to pull off the freeway to visit this sweet and charming local winery! Pets must be leashed at all times while on the grounds, but are welcome to sit and sip alongside you!36

Reed Creek Riverbend
Take a detour off the freeway to set up camp over at the Pioneer Village Campground located in the Reed Creek Riverbend neighborhood. This campground isn't your average campground. A picturesque, clean, and spacious environment welcomes you to explore its pawtacular grounds and rolling creek. There is pawlenty of space to walk the doggoes and have a little outdoor excursion. The owners of the Pioneer Village Campground show their furry and human customers warmly. Hospitality is their motto! You will love their pawtastic, remote facilities set in a scenic meadow right near the Reed Creek. Pups should be leashed when outside your tent or RV.24

Pauley Flatwoods
Visit the Pauley Flatwoods neighborhood located in Austinville for a grand day out at the Shot Tower State Park, which is also managed by the State Park in Max Meadows. The Shot Tower State Park is a tranquil location to take Fido and family for a historic walk. The Shot Tower is over 200 years old and was used to make ammunition. Admission is free and guests may climb the tower, although doggoes are only allowed on the grounds and not in any buildings.
