A unique feature of Tazewell is what residents of the town called the “Sleeping George Washington.” While driving along US 19/460, you can get a wonderful view of the mountains that looks like George Washington sleeping while gazing at the stars. Walk on the path along Lake Witton Road and give your pup some exercise while admiring the amazing views of the trees and wildflowers.

Located in the Downtown area, Lincolnshire Park is a great place to spend the day with your family and the pup. There is a 21-acre lake where you can walk and watch the water activities while Fido sniffs along the water’s edge. The hiking trail is perfect if your pup likes nature and he can have a snifftastic time in the trees and plants.
