When your furry friend has been a good boy or girl, a trip to the dog park is in order! Salem Rotary Dog Park is a pawsome place to visit for some exercise and playtime with your pup. There are two separate areas for smaller pooches and for larger canines, each offering grass and trees for some shade. There are benches where you can chill out, and water is provided for your panting pup. In addition, there are waste bags available in case you furgot your own. There is nowhere better in Salem to socialize and make new furry friends than at Salem Rotary Dog Park!

For an adventure with your pupper, head on over to Green Hill Park! This is one of the largest parks in the area, which makes it paradise for your pooch. There is lots of open green space here for enjoying some exercise with your pup, as well as plenty of room to play fetch with a ball or Frisbee. In addition, there are sniff-tastic trails you can follow among the trees to go exploring Green Hill Park with your doggo. Other puptastic amenities include a playground, football field, grills, fishing and plenty of picnic tables for chilling out and enjoying a treat with family and your furry friend.

For a pawsome afternoon at the park with your furry friend, head over to Shanks Street Park in Salem! Here your beloved companion can run and roam on the green grass, as well as play fetch with his or her favorite toys. There is also a playground here and a basketball court to have fun with the kids, with three picnic tables for relaxing and enjoying a treat. If you are visiting Salem and need accommodation for the night, you can stay at the Motel 6. This puptastic place is dog friendly, and you are welcome to bring two pups of any size to stay for no additional fee. The Quality Inn is also nearby, which offers comfortable rooms for you and two canines weighing up to 50 Ibs for a small additional fee per stay.
