Dog Areas in Deming

Deming is a small place in Washington with a population of 353 that lies close to the Canadian border. What is interesting about Deming is that it is a home to the Nooksack Tribe, which is a tribal government that is federally recognized. The tribe is located within the 2,500-acre Nooksack Indian Reservation.

Since this place is mostly nature and mountains, you can find a lot of cabins in the woods to stay at, which make Deming the pawfect place for a vacation. Most of the places are dog-friendly, too! These include Snowater Resort Condo, Baker Cabin - In Glacier, Pinecone Log Cabin, Luxury Mountain Chalet, and more. All of these cabins have different rules and pet fees so if you're thinking of visiting, be sure to check out the pet policy.

Since Deming is a mountainous town, there are a lot of difficult hikes and trails here. If you are physically fit and consider yourself an adventurer, you should check out the Heliotrope Ridge Trailhead. The hike is long, around 6 miles, and it takes up to 3.5 hours to finish it. Dog are welcome, but you have to be really careful since there are slippery narrow places. Water, snacks, and waste bags are a must!
