“Rain/shine & day/night I’ll walk them anytime! <3”

Hey there! I am a pet owner myself; I have three dogs that I love. Junior a lap/pit mix, Missy a Staffy and Piper a German Shep./Boxer/pit mix. All high energy and well behaved. I have been around animals my whole life. Currently when I’m not walking dogs I can be found either working at Petco or for a school. I have experience with various breeds, age and temperament. I believe myself to be honest and trusting and treat each animal as if it were my own, respectfully and loving.

I am a fit, fun 46 year old mom with a lifetime of having the best pooches in my life. I have had large breeds as well as the short and swift breeds. I really enjoy the energy and personal bond I have with them. They fulfill me much more than I do them for sure! In the past I have volunteered walking pooches for local animal shelters as well as helping with cleaning duties. I am a firm believer that a well exercised pooch is a happy pooch!

Hello, I'm Jacquelyn and I would love to meet your fur-baby! I've shared my heart and home with many animals over the years and plan to continue doing this for the rest of my life! I have dog/animal sat many times, for many years, for handfuls of people who trust me with their furry friends (and homes). Some even call me The Animal Whisperer. I've volunteered as a Dog Walker, Cat Kennel Tech, Matchmaking Assistant, and Animal Care Specialist with the animal shelter NOAH. I am wonderful with animals and believe each one has it's own unique personality and soul that deserves to be loved and well taken care of to ensure the animal flourishes and has the best life possible.

Dog Walking in Lake Stevens

Lake Stevens is a beautiful lakeside community named after a reservoir on which it sits. This city was a bustling resort town in the early 1900s, and now serves primarily as a quiet suburb of Seattle. This area is home to many furiffic parks and amenities for local and visiting doggos.

The Snohomish County Centennial Trail is a 30-mile rail trail popular with puppers and cyclists alike. This pawesome path winds through miles of farmland, forests, mountain valleys, and passes over several rivers and creeks. To the east, furry adventurers can take in the stunning snow-capped Cascade Mountains and maybe even spot a black bear! Around the halfway point is Lake Cassidy. Hikers and their companions can stop here and enjoy a picnic lunch, or just sit on the pier and enjoy the view.

The off-leash area at Cavalero Hill Park is maintained by the Snohomish County Park System and provides an excellent place for the locals to socialize. The park is comprised of two separate fenced areas -- a 3-acre main area for the active and more social crowd, and a .25-acre “shy dog” area for those who prefer alone time. The main area features several agility obstacles, including tunnels and hurdles to entertain nimble pups (and picnic tables for their humans to sit at while they show off)! Pups love this spacious hidden gem!

Edmonds Marina Park is a furrific off-leash dog beach perched upon the Puget Sound. This charming park is a favorite spot for mutts to cool off during the summer and is just over 30 minutes south of Lake Stevens. The park is only partially fenced, and the adjacent beaches are not pup-friendly, so make sure you keep Fido under voice command. There are waste bag dispensers and receptacles for when nature calls the pups (and port-a-potties for when it calls on their owners). One of the coolest features is the beachfront obstacle course where your dog can hone his agility skills without leaving the shore!

The Warren G. Magnuson Park Off Leash Area is considered by many to be the best dog park in the Seattle area. This adorable beachfront park lies 34 miles south of Lake Stevens and is well worth a trip. The 6-acre park is pure doggy bliss for canines, and provides a huge expanse for running, fetching, splashing, and socializing. This park is one of only three in the area that offer off-leash water access, making it a very special place for the native pup-pulation. Be sure you bring a beach chair, because you’re going to have a hard time convincing Fido that it’s time to leave!

Howarth Park is the main attraction for this neighborhood’s pooches, boasting 28 acres of dog-friendly amenities, including off-leash beach access! The massive pup-friendly shoreline is a smash hit with water dogs, but there are plenty of activities for land dwellers too! For those less enthusiastic about water, there are walking trails, tennis courts, and a playground for children. It is important to remember that only the beach area is leash-free. When you’ve had your fill of fetch, you can grill up some burgers for your pack at the picnic area! This park will be a total knockout with the whole crew!

Eight miles from Lake Stevens, the Paine Field area is jam-packed with activities sure to please any pup (and owner!). The Loganberry Off-Leash Area is a large, wooded recreation site located between Kasch Park and the Walter Hall Golf Course. This outdoor facility consists of a network of trails that traverse the natural woodlands, and a spacious expanse perfect for fetch at the park entrance. The park is not fully fenced, so keep a close eye on your fur-iend while he is leash-free. Visitors are advised to bring water for their thirsty pal. You’ll want to bring towels too, because the park is known to get quite muddy! Afterwards stop by Crucible Brewing, a dog-friendly taproom and brewery that welcomes leashed pups both inside and out! They don’t offer food, but do host food trucks on Friday and Saturday (and guests are always welcome to bring their own grub!).

Eagle Dog Park located in Granite Falls (about 14 minutes from Lake Stevens) is a convenient off-leash facility for local pups. This adorable park features separate sections for small and large dogs, and plenty of seating for owners. The obstacle course is a park favorite, providing hurdles and tunnels to explore and frolic in. If your pup isn’t versed in social graces, hit the trails for some one-on-one time. There are poo bags handy near the main area, as well as water and bowls for your thirsty pal. This little park will make a mark on your pup (and he will leave his mark on it too!).
